Adding Species' To Player Made Planets

Recently we've had numerous individuals attempting to add native fauna to player-created planets without first gaining the consent and approval of the planet's creator.

You need to gain their permission, as this will effect and change numerous aspects of their planet submission and will require edits to be made by the owner, including Culture, History, Technology, etc.

Use common courtesy guys, or warnings will be given.

Apparently not enough to not make an announcement for people about it.

Alright, let's raise the bar then, and touch something far less common.

What if the species is invasive or is transplanted? What if it's put there IC with the sole purpose of disruption? What then? We can glass the life of a planet away, can we contribute to it as well?

Either way you'd still need permission from the person who made the planet. I'll use Spore as an example: you come across the planet where there's an equal balance of herbivores and carnivores and omnivores. You throw down a new species of carnivore that wipes out whole species of herbivores. That would mess with the environment of the planet, and thus any sentient race that lived there.

I tried to, but i was told it was too similar to already canon or made shit, so just dont bother.

It ain't so hard people... if you want to change and/or add stuff to a player's creation? You ask them permission, period.

This includes culture and history as well as everything else in the sub in question, not just the addition of a new species.
