So, as you might have seen in this thread, Suhr has fled the Templar Order, and as a result the Confederacy. While she's still in confederate space, I presume for publicly killing someone Suhr would be branded a criminal of sorts.
So why have I done this? Well, rather than give you a huge longwinded explanation, I'll condense it.
Essentially, the Confederacy, and as a result, the Templar Order doesn't really fit with the character I wanted to portray. In terms of in character, and the ideas I had for Suhr before I created the character, Suhr was designed to do best in a faction that has more of a sway to one extreme or another. As a result, the whole neutral thing of the Templars isn't really something that she fits into because there isn't really anything for her to go against. If Suhr were to turn around and go "I want to be a healer", the Templars would encourage it. If she was to turn around and say "I want to become a mass murderer", while you guys would likely try to nudge her in a different direction, eventually you'd accept or encourage it, and so on and so forth as opposed to putting your feet down and trying to drag her in the direction of the Faction.
So to TLDR that: Suhr doesn't really fit into the Templar's ideals and ethics.
On an OOC note, you guys are all great!... but you're also mostly in strange and alien time zones to me, which means I've found myself posting at increasingly post-midnight times to try and catch you in the more active hours for you guys. Same for the Skype chat. While I don't really mind chatting into the wee hours, doing it consistently and trying to get a regular sleep pattern doesn't really compute. I could crash out earlier, of course, but the few times that I have gone to sleep at a human time, all of the RP has been done - see also, the dominions.
The only negative thing I have to talk about is the whole speed-dominion thing. To me, a dominion isn't just a chance to grab another planet for the faction, it's also a chance to do some great character development whilst doing a mission. Sure, declare the planet yours OOC when you've hit the 175? post mark, but please don't make that post count your target, because in complete honesty it's somewhat aggravating to try to join in, only to watch the thread die once that milestone's been hit.
So, that's that, really. If anyone has any questions, feel free to fire them at me in here.
If there's no questions... Well. Adiós mi amigos!
