Appearance: Admiral Yahla is a stunning Imperial Officer, and though she appears to be in her late twenties to early thirties she is rising through her forties. Often distinguishable by her slim physique and sunburnt hair, she stands out on the deck of her starship. She has near flawless skin, except for the first signs to crows feet coming over the side of her eye sockets. While her hair is a beautiful shade of red it is pleasantly streaked with several gray strands, drawing the entirety of the color of her hair down to a much duller orange than it truly is.

Wealth: Catherine Yahla comes from a prestigious Imperial family born into the New Galactic Empire. Because of this she had a sizable inheritance gifted to her in her early thirties. Her duties as the Bothawui Sector's Naval Commander also provide her with a rather impressive salary. Making more than enough to maintain the lavish lifestyle she had grown accustomed to.
Notable Possessions:

• Yahla Homestead: The main homestead to the Yahla family is located in the plains lands of Bothawui, where the Admiral is known to stay during her time away from the fleet.
• The Family Crest: On a necklace hidden by her uniform is the pendant holding the Yahla family crest.

Skills:

• Commander: Serving in the imperial Navy for nearly twenty years, Yahla has learned the in's and out's of Naval Command. As such she is a very capable Fleet Commander, some say the best in her sector.
• Resourceful: As many Imperial Officers she has found herself in more than one situation where she has had to improvise or use her whits, when push comes to shove she can follow through.
• Marina Combat Training: Starting her years of service as a Fleet Marine she is more than capable of stacking up in the halls and repelling unwelcome visitors.
• Jack of all trades: In her time she has bounced around the bridge of the Command ship, making her capable in most Fleet Officer positions. Navigation, primary gunner, secondary gunner, and Commander are all known to her.
• Hand to Hand Adept: Yahla spends a lot of her spare time developing her close quarters, hand to hand combat skills. Having a mother of Echani descendant seems to have influenced this focus on her hobby.

Personality: As sly as a snake, Admiral Yahla has slid her way from the bottom of the Imperial Officer corp to the top. She is a cunning tactician and masterful Commander who often exudes a very pleasant, even bubbly aura. However, the sweet exterior she shows is often used to hide the Icy heart that lays underneath. The Officer's under her command are often notably fearful of her vindictive side, so much so that her outward appearance and demeanor is barely noticeable to them. She is often seen toying with the single lock of hair that she purposely keeps out of the tightly woven bun or straightened hairstyle she often sports.

When on duty she sports the uniform of an Imperial Officer, the distinguished rank boards of an Admiral attached to her chest. With a straight posture and the eyes of a serpent she is an odd mix of sweet and deadly, leaving anything you gain from her, something you've earned.

COMBAT INFORMATION​

Weapon of Choice: Blaster pistol
Combat Function: When faced with direct combat the Admiral generally maintains a distance from her enemies, using her blaster pistol to pick off her enemies as best she can. Though far from an ace shot she is easily above average with her skills with a blaster. As a personal hobby and an unrelated skill set she also has advanced hand to hand combat skills, making her a fairly formidable Naval Officer.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION​

The Yahla family has maintained close ties to the Galactic Empire for years. Often grooming their men for military service and their women for political or public service positions. However that tradition ended with Catherine. The eldest of three daughters she had dreamed of nothing but serving as a Naval Officer like her father. Of course her father, Carter Yahla, was against this idea, holding to the base idea that only men should serve in the Imperial military. So when Catherine turned 16 and begged to be sent to the imperial academy, she was denied. Her father insisted she serve as the families representative in the Imperial Courts, however Catherine would not entertain the idea.

It was not until her mother died giving birth to Catherine's youngest sister that Carter finally caved. Wanting the family history of Imperial service to live on he allowed her to join the Imperial Naval academy at the age of nineteen. Her four years of schooling and training was well received, leading her to the top of her class and commissioning as an Imperial Lieutenant. Though she was assigned to the Fleet her first duties were with the Imperial Marines. Far from the helm of Fleet Command she dreaded the seven years of service she spent in the Marines, though they gave her a greater insight on the inner workings of the Imperial Star fleet.

After her first ten years of service ended she had maintained the same rank, yet was placed in command of her own escort vessel. From there she rose through the ranks, however it was not done through conventional means. Yahla bribed, threatened, and even slept her way to the top until finally she was Admiral of her own fleet. With the title of Command finally hers she vowed to never stoop to such measures again, in her mind she had won.
