Private Admirers when you least expect one

For years Jessica knew that she was different from other Jedi. No matter how others could admire her, very few would be obsessive enough to even attempt to meet with her in person. She knew there were admirers from everywhere in Silver space, however. But what a surprise it was when one of those groupies specifically cited some technology that was released before she started Jedi training... some high-end machine learning operating system for use in devices such as power armors. Hammurabi. Probably a heavy user of a device powered by it, in her mind. That which set in motion a chain of events that led her to even undertake Jedi training to begin with. But clearly beauty was far from the end of the story with that admirer: while, of course, she knew several pretty Jedi females, and she herself kept to the Jedi Beauty Recipe, beauty was a dime a dozen compared to the real object of admiration of that person. Intellect? It was more of an object of envy in her experience than an admiration one, and a more intimate object of envy than material possessions, but even if it was an admiration object, it would likely be an indirect one, based on how intellect was used rather than intellect itself.

ATTN: Taji Nelson

It's not often that Jedi even get contacted personally by some admirers, but please let me know what works for you and we shall meet one another.

Taji approached her in order to see her, and meet her because he wanted to study the AI she had made. The AI known as Hammurabi was an impressive creation from what little he had managed to glean on it. He asked, as she approached. "Would you be willing to help me make an Artificial Intelligence like the one you created in the past? It was Hammurabi, I believe that you've made."

He said that, as he looked at her. Taji wanted to make sure that he could have her help in making an AI for himself. After all, an artificial intelligence was a useful asset for a project that he would use for himself. Building a power armor was not going to be easy in the slightest.

"In my experience of artificial intelligence, specialized applications are typically less troublesome to design, because the requirements are better-defined"

Bloatware was a real issue when someone wanted an AI system, or even software that wasn't "smart" enough to qualify for AI status, that was to become too many things to too many end users, especially when there was little or no modularity in how these features could become usable by end users. Then again, even though she knew very few other Jedi that could even approach her level of computer expertise, there was still another person that she would still rather have on hand for anything resembling a cutting-edge AI project. Poorly defined requirements caused issues even in the absence of featuritis. But, in the end, even with more advanced technology, or the best defined scope in the galaxy, risks cannot be fully eliminated when it came to using machine learning in AI. She then pondered what to tell Taji Nelson next:

"What few Jedi realize is that any new software development project can have a lot of issues so sitting down and clarifying the scope and requirements is key before any programming work can be done"
