"That should be everything..." Katarina said, handing over the dossier.
Seated beside her, Ivory took it; opening the flap and extracting the packet within. She browsed through it for a moment with a discerning eye - brow furrowed as she read. She said nothing for a few moments, chewing on her bottom lip before replacing the files within the envelope and closing it... then tucking the small package beside her and into the seat.
Then, she handed an envelope of her own to the lieutenant. The crime lord watched the detective carefully, features absolutely unreadable... and Katarina, to her credit, betrayed nothing either. The woman took the credits, stuffing them inside her jacket. "Thank you, Kat. That'll be all." Ivory said, offering little more...
The detective smirked, then nodded, and without another word, opened the door to the speeder and stepped out into the night.
Ivory's driver slowly pulled away at her direction, gliding easily into the night.
Katarina stepped up onto the pavement, reached into a pocket, and produced a crumpled pack of cigeras... giving it a shake, and placing one between her lips. She lit it, and the sweet, pungent smell of tobac wafted into the air around her - wreathing her in smoke. She exhaled, remaining on the quiet street until she was sure it was time to go.

Ivory made a call.
"I want a drink waiting, when I get back... We have business to discuss." She said, and her associate nodded.
The return to the Crown Prime was only a short travel, and it was mostly in silence... The Underboss had much to consider.
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Ivory's speeder pulled into the private drive through-which only members of The Family gained access to the lower levels of the Crown Prime Casino. "The Labyrinth", as it was called, was highly secure... the basement of the Casino, where they might conduct their business in secret. The dim private parking area was quiet when the Underboss exited the speeder, shutting the door with a thud.
Access to the private turbolift which would take her to the very top of the Casino, and the meeting room which awaited at its' apex, was accomplished with a wave of a personal keycard Ivory carried with her at all times.
Everyone was already waiting, some seated at the table in the center of the room, while others milled about in the beautiful office space. The doors separating the private lift from the room hissed open and Ivory stepped out.
Hello, Family! I'd like to bring a new story to you folks.. this will be available to everyone. I'd like to increase The Family's powerbase on Coruscant, as well as build the holdings of Ahtemis Luxury Transports. There will be particular rewards for every rank in The Family at the conclusion of this story... namely, vessels!
Anyone who'd like to take part need only post, joining me in the CPC's meeting room at the apex of the Casino. I'll explain everything IC!

Waiting for the Underboss
Zoe sat down with her legs up on the table and was twirling a knife about on her fingers, anticipating Ivory's arrival. There was a few people already in the meeting room which most likely meant that the underboss had sent for a good amount of people. She couldn't help but wonder what task they were going to get.. being fairly new to the family she didn't know what to expect. The Door Opens, making Zoe jump, alas it was one of the other associates bringing a drink to the table, presumably for Ivory, which could mean she is near.

Zoe slid her knife back into her blazer jacket pocket and sat up with one foot resting on the table, bringing her data-pad out she browsed the beverages at the casino, eventually settling on ordering a sweet Corellian Whiskey whilst she waited.

Lift Door Hiss, Zoe looked up and saw Ivory and began wondering when that drink would arrive..

To Be Continued...

Her time with the family had been interesting say the least, honestly she couldn't complain at all however...she wanted action and she got it in exchange if course she had the family for help nothing that stardust couldn't do and so far everything had been smooth

Hence why she arrived

She took to leaning against the wall of the office, fully outfitted in her armor save for her helmet that rested within reach....stardust hummed as she watched and looked over every associates around the he room carefully

Seemed like a nice office, I was used to chilling out in the undercity, in my club or other places. I'd managed to find a perch in this office and currently I was hanging over the railing by my legs. I was at work sharpening my blades while suspended. It was something that I'd picked up in my background hanging around and perching in places discreetly. I had many other skills but seemed to me I'd rather be at ease anywhere and have a sharp blade at all times. There was a drink brought to the table while another young woman waited and ordered her own drink. Corellian whisky by the scent... classy drink. I never drank while working with anything that'd require precision.

As of now I thought back to my time with The Court.... I hung there silent as a tomb and waited for the woman in charge to arrive...

Factory Judge
I rolled my sleeves up. The black shirt made my almost albino skin seem even more pale in the dimly lit club. The folded shirt was buttoned up and ironed to perfection. Considering I was the one that took care of all of my own needs and desires, it only seemed right for me to be good at it. All I wore on my hip was quite strange and new. A lightsaber. One that did not look the part I would usually carry. However, beside me was another Echani. Anora. She was the daughter of my mentor, and as it so happened, was tied to me in a very special way.

She was currently taking a nice swig of her drink when I saw that one particular member had been rushing around. I smiled a bit as a Man was walking with a brisk pace over to Zoe. Holding a single drink. Even from here, I could tell that this was for Ivory. Walking forward, I used a very little portion of the force to take the glass of Alcohol from the man, and it slowly hover into my own.

I placed a finger to my mask where lips would have been as I faced the man and Zoe. I walked forward and out of the establishment itself. Handing her the drink as soon as any part of her exited the lift.

"Always a flair for the dramatic."

Apparently, half the people in the room were allergic to tables and chairs. Well, more specifically, 2/3rds of the room - of the six present, only two were seated. Herself, and some other chick who had her feet on the table.

Dayne admittedly looked forward to seeing Ivory again. The last time they'd worked together was, well... quite a long time ago. A small, rather rare flash of guilt skittered across her mind, like a rat in a basement, but was gone as quickly as it appeared. Things happen, and dwelling too long on it would be of no use to anybody.

Instead, she focused on counting how many time she could successfully roll the credit chip across her fingers without having to stop. Her record so far was 26 times. Right now she was up to-- oh, blast. Simply focusing on how many times caused her to pause, thus ending the streak (which had been up to 15 times at that point, 15.5 if you wanted to be persnickety).

As the people around her did their own thing while awaiting the Capo, Digits started her count again. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine...

The Golden Dragon/The Executioner
She was fully clad in her armor when she arrived this was the first time since her official ritual that she would meet many members of the family she hasn't met before and some she has,she wondered what was in store here as Coruscant was a big and profitable place so many things and strings to pull so many business's and gangs and other connections to tie into and someday she will sink her talons into them but for now she waited for the underboss [member="Ivory Stroud"] to arrive as she looked around the rest of her family members she turned around at the sound of the lift door hissing open as she stepped out and waited for her to start speaking.

The Apex of the Crown Prime Casino was a special place; reserved strictly for meetings such as this - a place where The Family could meet, as well as survey the city and the stars above. Much of the ceiling was made of glass and pyramidal shaped, and the skylights were open.. allowing a nearly 360 degree view across the grounds of the Casino and into the night. Above, a constantly shifting tapestry of light blanketed the sky... Coruscant never slept.
The opulent, finely furnished space was warm and secure; kept clean of all manner of "pests", and only accessible to those whom Ivory personally allowed. Everyone who'd arrived were her Family... the most trusted.
The turbolift doors hissed open, and Ivory stepped out... dressed in a sleek black skirt which accentuated her curves beautifully. The tattoos & assorted brands etched into her flesh gave her a rebellious air, creating a strange dichotomy of command & anarchy. Clutched to her chest was a black document holder. The Underboss nodded toward everyone in the room, recognizing each of them immediately - happy to see so many had come.
"Good evening, everyone... and thanks for coming so quickly."
The Crime Lord tossed the leather case on the long wooden table which occupied a considerable amount of the room, and it landed with a slap. Beside it, her drink waited, and she picked it up and took a sip... coating her tongue in the strong liquor before swallowing with a contented sigh. She opened the document case, and began extracting a number of pages... laying them out in a certain order only she might understand. Once she was ready (which only took a few moments), she took another drink then set the glass down, rubbing her palms together.
"Alright people... we've got business to discuss."
HlLr6G6.png
"As you all are likely aware, business has been running well over the past few months... The Crown Prime, as you all might have noticed on your way in, is highly successful; we've made in excess of 785,000 Credits since Opening Weekend in house profit alone... which has exceeded our predictions. Our illegitimate rackets, of course, are successful as well... with Spice & Dust being the two most popular sellers on the open market. The quality vastly outweighs our competitors... except for The Hutts."
Slowly, Ivory turned her gaze to each of her friends in turn.
"Since it's reopening, Ahtemis Luxury Transports, our shipyards, have only clocked on average two to three ships per month - when we have the capability to churn out nearly three times that many in the same amount of time. This is troubling... for a number of reasons: firstly, it's not a matter of advertising, as our contacts within the Media Services ensure our ads play on a regular basis. Secondly, our competition is steadily gaining ground in regards to actual production numbers. Thirdly..." At this, the Underboss paused, reaching down and turning a single piece of paper for the others in the room to read.
"After some digging... it turns out we're missing nearly 210,000 Credits since the factory went operational."
She allowed a moment for this to sink in before continuing.
"Someone, inside the Factory, is stealing from us, ladies & gentlemen."

I'd been listening as the underboss [member="Ivory Stroud"] explained our income statistics. Releasing my hold from the overhang I curled into a ball and executed a flip landing on my feet. What Ivory had said about the production we had of ships versus what was in fact possible amounted to several interesting possibilities. Could be someone was selling plans for vehicles, that and stealing our resources. Looking at the underboss I spoke up "Seems that if our competition is gaining ground that the person stealing from us isn't simply stealing credits, they're supplying designs or resources to our competition. I assume you're going to want us to waste the person should we find them?"

I had to admit I was curious how it was Ivory wanted us to handle this. Odds were we'd need to waste this person in any case, stealing from The Family was asking to be hunted. Betraying The Family like this person had was basically signing your own death certificate. I hadn't hunted anyone in a long while so I was hoping Ivory would unleash me on Coruscant to hunt this traitor....

Yes turned towards ivory, a smile formed upon her lips as she pushed off the wall and grabbed her helmet and took a seat scanning over everyone else before her full attention turned towards the woman

I cant help but agree such a...crime to commit towards the family, however they could be useful yet if they are giving things away to rival companys...,

A Thief?!
Zoe listened closely as Ivory announced that there was a thief amongst the ranks of The Family. She always loved a good witch-hunt. Looking at some of the others in the room they seemed all too eager to find this thief, and rightly so. "210,000 credits..?" she muttered to herself, quite a hefty sum and a bold move for someone aiming to steal under the noses of the bosses.

Regardless, Zoe wanted to become more involved with the family, and perhaps this would allow her to lodge herself within their ranks. She will help find this thief, whether they return alive or dead.

Zuri stepped in the room, detective badge on her belt and had that stance that screamed officer. She was yet to be formerly introduced to the family. In fact she was still learning the land of Coruscant. "Well! This wont simply do. Stealing is just a tedious crime to deal with." She said knowing her words would draw some attention as she moved further into the room. She made no attempt to hide the small arsenal of weapons she had, two SMGs bearing the corusec logo, A pink and white blaster in a holster to her thigh and a shock batton. "The green one is right. Killing the perp on the spot would be against out interests. Nothing says that another person could be bought off to steal. Let me interrogate them." The zeltron would put a fist into her palm and squeezed tight till the bones cracked.

"Off the books of course. By the end of it I am confident you'd have the information to take a strike at the competitors. What you do to the thief and the competitor are non of my business. All I can do is try draw as much corusec away from the place you are hitting with a low level drug bust. Of your choosing Ivory." There was an air around her that eyes was peering into the back of her orange hair. After all she was a cop in the middle of a room full of 'Business associates'. There was nothing to stop any of these just seeing her for what was on the surface. On the inside she was just as corrupt as everyone here.

The Golden Dragon/The Executioner
As she listened to the conversation about someone stealing that much from the family her blood boiled abit such thievery should be punished accordingly she heard[member="Al-Saher"] mention assassination which sounds good on paper but whats to stop another from taking their place, As if they read her mind both [member="Zuri Ano"] and [member="Stardust Australis Skirae"] mentioned that killing would do no good that he should be captured and interrogated which the Zeltron suggested she be the one to interrogate which was when she decided to speak up.

I would like to join in the interrogation....I have a few methods at my disposal i could use to ...motivate them to give us what we need.

She was built to cause pain and break bones and she wasn't about to let that talent goto waste.

[member="Ivory Stroud"] [member="Dayne Inck'ha"] [member="Shaun Castanic"] [member="Zoe Rosella"]

Looking towards the perky zeltron I arched an eyebrow and pondered things over. The theft was an issue, what was more of an issue was the likelihood of business and materials being stolen and used by our competition. Personally my first thought wasn't just to gut the idiot who stole from the family. Even if I had a thing against idiocy I still preferred leverage of said idiots. As it was if I could find out whom the traitor was I could make them reveal everything, turn them against whoever the were working for and then I could still kill them. Leverage whatever or whoever they cared about against them would be a torture in and of itself, people were illogical when it came to those they cared about. I was simply exceedingly violent when people I cared for were threatened...

"So any leads on who committed the theft? Odds are it wasn't just one person, to alter records like that let alone transport resources would take a small team at the very least...." In any event I'd be seeking a clean and brutal way to deal with this. Don't draw attention to The Family, work in the shadows.... seemed I was always in the shadows lurking in some way or another...

Drogh

Drogh didn't much like the casino. It was too bright, too loud and far to large. A screaming mess of pleasure and indulgence, incoherent chaos of want blurring everything. It was an easy place to lose yourself, Drogh could appreciate that much. Although he didn't much like being in the place, but he was thankful he was spared the chaos of below, as he stood near the table. He practically reeked of alcohol, drinking on the job was pretty much a requirement for Drogh, otherwise migraines tended to happen, open yourself up to the force, every little nagging soul on this god forsaken planet, ebbing away at your brain like festering maggots, as can you feel their shrieking signatures, like small little flames burning you to cinder. It wasn't very pleasant. Drugs and drinking numbed that pain, quite well. Drogh mused how everyone here either looked respectful or combat ready, while Drogh seemed to look more like he was dragged through a gutter, well he did wake up in one at the very least. Wearing his typical black robe, marks and stains of a collection of filth marred his clothing.

Drogh's cold eyes looked at everyone with a paranoid glare. He didn't trust anyone in this room, although apparently there supposedly a sense of mutual brotherhood among its members, hence the name "The Familly", Drogh didn't feel it one bit towards anyone. Although he had recently joined, he doubted that constant paranoia would ever leave. As he waited patiently, making a conscious effort not to stumble forward and trip over his own feat, as he felt the effect of the harsh liquor coursing through his veins, finally Ivory entered the fray. Drogh couldn't bring himself to outright hate Ivory. He maybe even respected her, and certainly feared her, but still that trust was nowhere to be found.

As he was briefed on the current situation, Drogh began to loathe the idea of going on some wild goose hunt looking for this supposed thief. Drogh knew Coruscant better than most, he hated the streets but they had been his home for as long as he could remember. But Coruscant was a maze, a labyrinthine of broken stone and ancient structures that were endlessly built on top of each other, he didn't exactly like the idea of crawling through all of that.

Drogh was quietly sulking to him self about what might be asked of him, but then he almost had a heart attack as his first response was to bolt out of the door, failing that fling himself out a window as he saw what seemed to be a officer casually stroll him. However within a few seconds before he could do anything that would seem incredibly stupid the the fiery haired officer seemed to be aware of the situation, in fact cooperative. Drogh instantly despised the women, taking out pack of cheap cigarette to calm his nerves as he gave her a stone dead stare.
