Strengths:
- Experienced - Adrik has lived a long life, and become wiser for it. He sometimes sees details others miss, and often handles stressful situations better. But just because he has much life experience, does not mean his ideas for the future are necessarily the best.
- Actor - Spending much of his early life in acting, Adrik has learned how to become other people. The real Adrik is known only to him, and everyone else only meets the Adrik he lets them.
- Politician - After leaving acting he entered the political ring, and has spent many years practising in the lower levels of politics. He understands the game, and is ready to set his eyes on larger targets.
Weaknesses:
- Old - While not frail, Adrik is elderly. His eyes have become nearsighted, his hearing is not perfect, and he is unlikely to win a contest of strength against a young opponent.
- Extremist - Behind his mild mannered behavior, Adrik has no qualms about using any method to accomplish his goals. He sees the current political climate as chaos, and wishes to see that solved.
- Untrained - Adrik has never fired a real weapon nor trained with martial arts or close range weapons. Having never seen real combat, he would not be a competent commander either.
APPEARANCE:
Wrinkled skin and greying hair are just two signs of his advanced age. This lends to his fatherly appearance, but very little else stands out. He is someone that can be related to by everyone, because he does not remind them of anyone.
BIOGRAPHY:
Born on Coruscant to a world still just recovering from the Gulag Plague, Adrik started acting at an early age. School plays were small and had string budgets, but that taught him that he needed to wow the audience with his own abilities rather than rely on a flashy stage or large casts. After school he auditioned for a small part in a minor movie. Despite more seasoned new actors applying for the role, his audition captured the attention of the casting director landing him the spot.
Over the next ten years he was in increasingly bigger budget films with even better parts until he finally landed a leading role. After this point he became a big name in acting across the galaxy, a symbol for a recovering populace. The more fame he gathered the more he was able to travel the Galaxy. The more he traveled, the more disenchanted he became with it. Various upsprung governments squabled of petty conflicts, and people suffered needlessly. Eventually it became to much and he retired from acting wealthy but without a goal.
After a few years he decided to become a politician in the newly formed Galactic Republic. For awhile he felt he was finally bringing the order the galaxy needed, but soon too it failed him. After serving various minor positions, he knew even if he became a senator he could change nothing.
It was then that reports of the Rebel Alliance started filtering in. Not yet willing to leave the political career he had spent years building, Adrik could not help finding himself intrigued. While this Rebellion was small, they seemed to have no fear of fighting for their beliefs. He began thinking, perhaps they could do what no one else seemed able to.
After first contacting their leader, Adrik entered the Republic Senate to help bring the Galaxy toward a better future.
