Adventure on Bayan

grassland_empire_by_r_maric-d7xscg8.jpg
Bayan
Bayan, home of many nomadic tribes, was quite the pleasant and peaceful place for one who wanted to get away from the chaos of the galaxy. Grasslands stretched as far as your eyes could see. They were truly "seas" of grass. Not all of the land in the grasslands were flat. There were hills that roughened up the terrain and the occasional woodlands where rivers flowed.

The calmness of the planet was about to change. A meteorite shower was headed towards the planet. In the center of the shower was a colossal meteor. It was different than the rest of the meteors that fell with it. It had an odd magnetic attraction within it, which caused ships and other electric things to randomly shut down. This would cause a lot of destruction for any who are near it, and for those who are on Bayan.

Xieza was seated in his ship, dozing off. It was just another tiring travel. Nothing out of the ordinary. Times like this always made him tired. He was just about to fall asleep when random meteors started darting past his ship, some hitting his ship. He jumped up in his seat and quickly grabbed the controls to fly the ship. He evaded hundreds of small meteors. He was almost out of the shower, when suddenly, his ship shut off. A meteor slammed into the side of his ship, leaving a large dent. The ship, then, moved with the shower towards the planet below, Bayan.

It seemed like hours before his ship came crashing into the atmosphere, when it was only minutes. Things were going slow for him. He felt as if this was it, the end of him. The outside of his ship was burning as it fell towards the surface with the rest of the meteors. Suddenly, time kicked back into speed and his ship came crashing into the surface. Everything went black for him after that. All he could remember hearing before going black was a really loud explosion, which was from the impact of the largest meteor. It landed some miles off, so Xieza was not effected.

Had been traveling in a shuttle on a little fly by of korriban which also brought him into contact with the Meteor shower as the magnetic pull of the largest one had pulled his shuttle out of hyperspace. He was shaken awake as he was about to go to sleep on one of the benches in the shuttle but the sudden jolt caused him to jump out of the bench and headed toward the shuttle and it's droid pilot who both at this point were nonfunctional. With only the ability to look out of the shuttles window he saw how his ship was beaten by a few of the smallest meteors that would burn up in the atmosphere of the planet bellow. With quick thinking he ran back into the back of the shuttle and forced the door closed, just in time as a meteor hit the cock pit, probably denting it a little but in the resulting crash there wasn't anything left of that part of the shuttle.

Awakening sore and bruised, with a busted lip and what felt like fractured ribs, he left the safety of the harness that probably saved him from a worse injury or death. Slowly he pushed open the door and welcomed the fresh air filing the half buried shuttle, his sight noting how damaged the surrounding area was around the shuttle as a few of the meteors had landed along side the shuttle. He thanked the grace of the force that no meteor had landed on his shuttle after it had crashed but the largest meteor intrigued him even though he noticed that the emergency beacon wouldn't work near it he decided to take the small device with him as a just in case. Limping he headed out of his ship and into the unknown planet as he got used to the soreness and stinging pain of his wounds but he soon got used to them after an hours travel, along with a little bandaging and pain relievers from the ships medkit.

Judgement approached the last of the Republic cargo ship's crew, who was shaking with fear at the cockpit after witnessing the slaughter of his comrades. The plan had gone perfectly; stow away aboard the cargo ship, then take out the crew and gain the supplies aboard for the Instruments of Chaos.
The crew member whimpered with terror as she strode towards him, her rapier already slick with blood.
"Y-You'll never get away-"
His futile threat was interrupted by his throat opening and blood spraying across the cockpit. The Instrument sighed as she wiped off her rapier with her cloak.
"Why do they always say such stupid things when they die?"
Her musings were interrupted by a sudden beeping from the console. Curious and annoyed, she wiped it off and checked it, only to swear loudly.
That whimpering coward had set a course to crash into the nearest planet, Bayan. As she felt the ship start it's descent, Judgement felt a small tinge of respect for him, before securing herself in the pilot chair's safety harness, hoping that would be enough to save her.

When she awoke, the first thing she saw was the grass.
It seemed to stretch on for miles, and she thought it was pretty; only then to realize that the front of the cockpit was missing, and she was dangling two meters in the air. She released her self, grunting as she dropped to the ground, the impact momentarily stunning her.
Judgement looked out at the wild planet.
"This is going to be very inconvenient."

Sam was doing a not so smart thing. This is not an atypical statement for Sam, rather it is sadly all to often that Sam does things that he shouldn't. He was admiring the datapad in his right hand while piloting his speeder at highspeed with his left. The amount of money that had just been deposited into his account would make many men weep with joy. He planned to do a bit of weeping once he handed out shares to his crew, but that's as may be. He didn't, at first, see the ship careening out of the sky ([member="Xieza Blade"]) as he made his way through the trackless wilderness to where his ship was berthed, though when he did it was far to late to do anything but slam on the brakes and try not to hit any trees. He wasn't all that successful, he clipped a few trees on the right hand side, his datapad jarring loose from the contact, and only his superb flying skills kept him from ending right there. A few more hits to both sides was all it took to end the speeder, though, and he plowed a furrow in the ground a hundred meters long and only about a kilometer from where the ship he had seen had crashed.

Mildly woozy from the crash, Sam took his time getting out. As he did, he saw several other plumes of smoke that denoted where sizable ships had crashed ([member="Judgement"] [member="T'zanith Zebron"]), all within a kilometer radius of where he stood. He started off for the closest one (whoever posts next) and made it there in a few minutes, barely winded thanks to keeping in shape. Warily, he would begin his search for survivors.

"Hello there!" He shouted as he approached the wreck. He scanned all around him, paranoid by default.

Judgement froze as she heard the voice call out.
Could a Republic crew member have survived?
She cautiously crept into the open, spotting the man calling out. Well, he didn't look Republic.

She drew one of her rapiers, pointing it's tip directly at him.
"Who are you?" She snarled, her eyes glaring behind her mask.

Felt like he had been walking for hours before he stopped, with his enhanced senses he heard talking near him. Looking toward it he began to move forward and soon came upon [member="Judgement"] and [member="Sam Turain"]. "Hello?" He shouted as he stumbled through foliage and had to take a few steps forward, his black robes tattered around the lowest edges and a black blindfold around his eyes as he looked at the two individuals now in front of him. One looked familiar but he couldn't put his finger on it, and really in the current situation he didn't much care. "Did you two crash as well?" He then asked them as he held up the emergency beacon in a questioning gesture over if they needed it or not.

[member="Xieza Blade"]

Xieza opened his eyes. There was smoke everywhere. He began to cough as he unstrapped himself from the seat. As he unstrapped himself, he felt a striking pain come to his ribs. He gritted his teeth and pushed himself out of the seat and onto the floor. He knew that he must get out of the ship if he were to survive. If he stayed any longer, the smoke would kill him. One step at a time, he slowly made it towards the back of his ship. The ship was pretty busted up back there, making it easy for Xieza to get out. Once out of the ship, Xieza fell to the ground and coughed until the smoke was out of his lungs. He, then, checked his belt to make sure his lightsaber had made it, and it did. He looked up and saw more towers of smoke rising into the sky, meaning that more ships had crashed. He held his ribs and pushed himself back up and started for the nearest tower of smoke.

Sam stopped in his tracks and faced the woman. His hands were held in front of him, palms out and completely away from his guns. He took a single step back and watched her with a small smirk on his face. The adrenaline was seeping into his blood, this was starting to be fun.

"Whoa there." His eyes flicked to the rapier, some blood still sticking to it, and he raised an eyebrow. "I take it that there won't be any more survivors..."

Sam felt someone drawing nearer a single moment before [member="T'zanith Zebron"] stumbled out of the undergrowth. In that moment, he took another step back and pivoted so that he could have both people in his front arc. He looked from the newcomer to [member="Judgement"], then to the ruin of a ship behind her and back to T'zanith.

"Well, crash might be a strong word. I had a landing that wasn't as soft as the rental company assured me I'd get." He chuckled softly, then nodded his head toward judgement. "From the looks of it, her ship had a bit of a sudden stop."

[member="Xieza Blade"]

She glared at [member="T'zanith Zebron"], having a vague recollection of being arrested on Coruscant; but shook her head to clear her thoughts.
She slowly lowered her rapier.
"Apologies, my ship had a . . . rough landing, yes."
She gestured to [member="Sam Turain"].
"We are on. . . Bayan, correct? Is there any civilization on this damn planet?"

[member="Xieza Blade"]

"Oh, there's civilization..." He turned to point in a direction, then brought his arm back and looked first one way, then another. He then spun slowly as if looking for something. "...It's a keffing long way off...we can check the ruin of my speeder to see if the map survived." He said distractedly, still appearing to be looking for the direction of civilization.

Xieza stumbled his way towards the crash site where the others were. He was able to make out three figures standing by the wreckage as he neared. They all seemed to be a little hesitant towards each other, except for the one in the tattered black robes. He seemed to not be hesitant towards the other two at all. Xieza stopped when he was ten meters away from the group. He had to be careful. All he knew was that he was on a planet named Bayan. He had tried to send signals on his comm unit while he walked towards the wreckage, but it seemed as if electric items do not work here. That must have something to do with why he crashed, and perhaps something to do with the large meteor. He stood there and spoke out the the others.

"Greetings... I crashed about a kilometer away from here and saw smoke coming from this direction. Good to see that I'm not the only one out here. Perhaps one of you have some way off the planet?"

"Gorram it, how many people are out here?!" He turned again, looking at [member="Xieza Blade"]. "If we can get to the capital, rather the only city on the planet, I can lift us off. Outrider 1 and my crew can take you anywhere in the sector. Farther than that'll cost money. Charity only goes so far to fill the stomachs of me and mine."

Judgement scoffed.
"More likely you'll rob or kill us. No one gives free lifts, not without something to gain."
She crossed her arms and glared at [member="Sam Turain"]. "I can only wonder what you get out of this."

Points at her rapier. "Not stabbed for one." He then indicates the mass of wilderness around them. "And, if you couldn't tell we are in the middle of nowhere. The only people worth knowing around here are people you don't want to know. So if I have to buy you lot off with a free ride so I can up my chances of actually making it back, then that's what I'm doing."

Farlon Orbit

Tough, Disciplined, Die-hard.
Orbit stumbled along the open fields of Bayan. He was dazed and confused, two feelings he didn't usually experience. He could't remember how he got this far out from the main areas of population but he was in great pain. Farlon looked down at his armor there was a sizable gash on his side and an equal sized cut on his leg. His DC-15 rifle being used as a crutch, he felt handicapped. As his hope started to deteriorate Orbit saw the plumes of smoke rising on the horizon giving him a plan of action.

It felt a like hours before he reached the crash sites of the fallen ships. Farlon Orbit relieved his head of his malfunctioning helmet and called out, "Is there any out there! Any survivors!"

T'zanith didn't move his head instead he seemed to stare toward the middle between [member="Judgement"] and [member="Sam Turain"] as if he was blind. "One of them armed with rapiers... force sensitive?... the other has blasters, could be useful." He thought as he turned his head to look at the newcomer as he seemingly limped towards them. "Another one?... and trained at that... but hurt." He thought as he sucked his teeth a little before he moved his head to face [member="Xieza Blade"]. "I smell blood, are you hurt?" He asked as he took out the first aid kit that he had placed in a small backpack when he left his shuttle. Figuring his way toward the newcomer, using his leg as a sort of walking stick he moved to be 5 meters away from him before he heard someone shout a little way of in the distance. "Hmm if there are more of us the better our chances of getting out of here." He thought as he was about to use telekinesis to guide the fifth man towards them, but then he hesitated the first sign of him hesitating since he met the other two. "WE ARE OVER HERE!" He then instead shouted hoping that [member="Farlon Orbit"] would hear him.

"Great," Judgement muttered, her eye twitching underneath her mask. "Another survivor."
She rubbed at the forehead of her mask, knowing it would do nothing to soothe the slight headache.
"Alright, alright, I believe you." She told [member="Sam Turain"]. "But that one over there is injured," She pointed to [member="Xieza Blade"].
"And who knows what condition the rest of you are in. So, this used to be a Republic cargo ship; I'll se if there are any medical supplies on it."
Without waiting for an answer, Judgement began scavenging among the wreckage, hoping there would be at least something intact.

[member="T'zanith Zebron"]
[member="Farlon Orbit"]

"There seems to be a good many of us."

He said as he looked around at all the other survivors. He turned to answer @T'zanith Zebron .

"The only thing that is bothering me is my ribs... I think some of them may be broken or cracked... or something. Not much can be done for them besides bandages..."

And the force... but I mustn't speak of that... I'm not even sure I can trust them yet...

[member="Judgement"] , [member="Farlon Orbit"] , [member="Sam Turain"]

He walked up to [member="Xieza Blade"] and handed him the first aid kit. "There should be bandages in here as well as some painkillers." He said before he shouted after judgement. "Try to find some food and drinks as well, we have no idea how long we will be here!" After that he figured his way to a nearby rock, still playing the blind man, sitting down on it as he let out a slight pained exhale. He was used to the odd bruises but something felt out of place and another felt cracked or fractured. Pushing those throughts aside he looked at Xieza again, using his force sight to figure him out a little. "Ok so trained... maybe around my level in training, most likely higher... Lightsider?...Jedi, just great like there weren't enough problems already." He thought as his brow furrowed a little before he turned his head in the general direction of [member="Sam Turain"]. "How many of us are there that are visibly hurt?" He asked him as he made a circle in the air with his finger, as if to gesture to every one around him.
T'zanith himself had only a burst lip and a small cut on his left eyebrow that showed his injuries but the cut was under his blindfolds so he looked like his eyes were hurt rather than just his left eyebrow. His head turned again this time he stared in the direction of [member="Farlon Orbit"] as he waited for him to arrive to their location.

@T'zanith Zebron[member="Xieza Blade"]@Judgement@Farlon Orbit

"It looks like only myself and the..." 'No flippant remark about crazy, no flippant remark about crazy' he thought to himself "..erm, lady, seem to be uninjured. You look to be mostly intact, though you're doing this wibble wobble thing so maybe you aren't seeing to well. Spikey hair guy here," Indicating Xieza "Says he's got some cracked ribs, get it set and wrap his chest in compression bandages and he should be good to go..." He turned towards the woods where he heard someone call out. He also heard the distinct tell tale of someone using something other than their limbs to help them walk. "And I'm going to guess he's having trouble walking..."

"Follow the sound of my voice. There is a group of us just over here." He yelled to Farlon. Man, this was becoming ridiculous. Walking wounded were coming out of the wood work...or woods, rather. "By the by...you lot can call me Sam." This he addressed to those assembled.
