Private Adventures on Anzat

Interacting with Seaja Linata Seaja Linata
Location: The planet Anzat

He was uncomfortable. He knew from all the accounts that here the Anzati could suck your brains out. Well, the fluids around the brain. But still in his mind he saw them like the zombies from the holos eating his brains while he stared up into a star studded sky.

It gave him the chills to think about it. But he wasn't the only off worlder here there were others. Medical Corps who had come in to aide anyone who was sick. There was a bit of military presence but he wasn't sure who they belonged to yet.

The goose bumps just wouldn't quit row after row on his arms giving him some notice that something might not be right. He had to remember some of these people had been around when his grandfather was a child. Wow, wonder if anyone of them knew him? He hoped to catch sight of the Sea of Memory. Right now he was heading to Maggot's Cantina to wet his whistle

Yep should have stayed home this time. He smiled or tried to.

It was a gently glorious day on Anzat. From earliest morning the sky had a clear light; the sunrise did not glow with fire, it was suffused with a soft roseate flush. The Anzat star, not fiery, not red-hot as in some stifling dry planets Seaja had visited, glowed dull purple like the sun on Manaan before a storm, lacking any bright or genial radiance as it rose peacefully behind a long and narrow cloud, shined out freshly, and plunged again into its lilac mist. The delicate upper edge of the strip of clouds flashed in little gleaming snakes; their brilliance was like polished silver.

One thing that left Seaja perpetually stunned was the ceaseless beauty of the Galaxy: everywhere she went, every planet and system, every terrestrial or cosmic sight, all took her aback with their beauty. The same was true on Anzat. Moving through the streets of the settlement around the spaceport, Seaja Linata began to focus on the other beings there as much as the environment. It was an odd mix, like every spaceport, and a truly unique atmosphere. Many of the pilots and traders on the planet seemed anxious and wary, like they were ill, and a lot of the local Anzati appeared almost predatory, moving the streets like stalkers, appearing as if they were just holding back from striking. However, other outsiders appeared more gregarious, almost troublesome and hostile, shouting at the quiet Anzati and bickering with more social locals, who all watched them with menacing smiles.

Seaja had heard plenty of stories about the Anzati, and had even met one during her enslavement to the pirate crew. He had said he was 80, but didn't appear to be much more than a teenager. The young Anzat had been friendly to her, but was suspicious and paranoid, and often made trouble for the slaver crew. One day the overseer lashed out at him and the young alien just snapped, leaping on the man, nose flaring and venomous looking tentacles shooting from his face, burying themselves deep in the man's nasal cavity. The following events were sickening. Eventually, other pirates got the Anzat off their comrade, but it was too late, so they shot him and dumped both bodies in space.

Trying to rid her mind of these foul memories, the young Miralian apprentice stepped quietly into the spaceport's main cantina. Moving quietly through the crowd, she took her place at the bar next to a young blue-eyed human male when she felt a shadowy presence over her shoulder. Turning slightly, the girl's eyes widened as she met the intense gaze of a large Anzat, grinning evilly down at her.

"Well hello there, little one. This is a dangerous place for one so young as yourself to be, all by yourself."

He spoke menacingly, clawed hands lacing and unlacing as he stared down at her, appearing almost hungry.

Theo was standing there inside the bar listening to a bit of conversation and playing with his own thoughts of what to do next. It wasn't long ago that the Sith had come to Anzat so far he couldn't seem any remnants of what was left.

He could see a few off worlders in here he wondered what were they looking for?

One particular meeting seemed to grab his attention an older Anzati looking over a young miralan. He couldn't tell how old she was but she was definitely young. He slowly inched a bit closer so he could hear a bit better. So far it sounded quite innocent he was seeming to be interested in why she was here alone.

Theo wondered that too, but he would wait before injecting himself into the conversation. What would her answer be?
