On Tython, the sun was high. Sweat dripped from beneath Elara's headband, which covered her eye sockets. Her should height hair clumped together. Her thin braid slipped from its position of resting just a bit from her forehead and now dangled before her headband. Fortunately for her, she had no issue with her "sight" due to her Miraluka nature.
None of the trees surrounding her provided much desired shade. The terrain gave no mercy as well. The path she had walked her entire trip that day had become no more than a trail of worn stone plates spaced several meters apart. Roots overtook much of the expanse between the stones. Potholes were fairly common as well. Still, she was able to manage herself.
As asked of, Elara journeyed rather far from the Jedi Temple and toward the many ruins nearby. A Jedi sympathetic to the refuges squatting on Tython requested Elara to find a child of theirs that went missing. The only lead given was that this young boy had a fascination with the ancient Jedi ruins. So, Elara took that lead and followed the Force.
Fortunately for her, there seemed to be no hostile fauna to deal with. All she had was a training sword with a durasteel dull blade strapped to her back - only able to bludgeon and slightly shock any foes.
Marble structures surrounded Elara as well. However, time had reduced what was one buildings and temples to the occasional column and half-eroded wall.
Eventually, Elara found a two meter tall, one meter wide stone block that stood upright. The design of it gave off the appearance of being a container - a coffin. Cautiously, Elara approached it. She had a bad feeling about what she discovered.
Without warning, the face of the stone container cracked. Elara immediately took a step back. Then, rocks and debris flew out at Elara as the lid exploded - creating a hole in this block. A droid holding a rifle stepped out without giving a moment. It had a high pitched wail as its head spun around like a top. It raised the blaster toward Elara.
The droid asked for nothing. It simply began to fire erratically. Luckily for Elara, she had already turned around and managed to take cover behind a column. The plasma blasts from the droid began to chip away at her cover. Elara did not know of the limitations of her training saber and whether or not it could deflect actual, lethal blaster bolts. Yet, she did not wish to take the chance on such an unknown.
To make things worse, though, Elara began to hear a second screech just like the droid she faced. Right before her, a metal hand shot out from the ground - another droid, yet buried beneath a shallow layer of dirt. Then, there was a third wail. And then a fourth...
There was no fear in her heart, though. With her mouth slightly ajar, she only had astonishment over how quickly the situation changed. Still, this Jedi Padawan apparently needed immediate help - and some extreme amount of luck for there to be anyone nearby to assist her.
