Currently the Marketplace is great for companies selling products. The customer comes to you and buys something. Easy.

But, although it can be done in the Marketplace, advertising and marketing for your company is difficult to do, especially for services or employment like mercenaries. Also, since not everyone like mercenaries have companies they can’t really post in the Marketplace.

So an advertisement forum could work. Limit each company or character to one thread. Maybe add some prefixes for products and services or for the type of product the offer.

Anyway, something to think about.

I post specials and the likes...

But getting so many subforums is kinda cluttersome. I've been working on an index for the marketplace like the one i had in SSB.

And in SSB i also used the "News" forum and "Mass message" forum to promote specials and news.


So i'd say something along those lines as an "Ad" would work better.

I agree with [member="Danger Arceneau"]. It'll get cluttered quick. I did have a thought though.

We do a MotM. Why not a Company of the Month? Feature a hardworking company and maybe a top notch product they made recently? Tis a thought.

My opinion;

Advertisiement subforum would have a topic in it from nearly every member of the roleplay, wether they're a mechanic, a bounty hunter, or a company owner. It would get ridiculously cluttered, as others have said. Great idea in theory though.

Company of the month would be fantastic, it would give people who work their butts off to get a company going a thumbs up.
I bet danger and Zoruthsu (or however you spell it) will be in the first few COTMs.
