Discussion Advice on creating a religion/cult on chaos.

I am planning to start a religion established by my 124 year old vampire witch.

Any tips and ideas on how to feasibly make it work and how to play it out in rp?

Will be taking some inspiration from real life cult/religions - will not say which to avoid people getting offended.

Gotta answer three questions first and foremost, the rest should flow naturally. There is the obvious "what do they believe?" but that's the easy part.

1. How do they recruit new followers?
2. Do they have any guiding principles or texts that they revere either morally or spiritually?
3. How do they worship? Classic church sermons? Sacrifices? All of the above?

I would suggest viewing some of the religion subs that other writers have done. We have tons of player made religions on Chaos so if you read what others have you can get a sense of what went well and what you would want to do differently.

Be original. Taking inspiration from other religions if necessary but find that 'thing' that makes them unique and interesting.
