Child of Mandalore
I'm thinking of making a space captain/fleet commander type character. But there are some concerns I wanted some advice on.
- Will it be hard to get them involved in most combat threads? Understandably it seems like the vast majority of people are playing ground pounders and a lot of thread objectives are either ground combat or boarding actions. Boarding actions upon my own ship seems like a way to RP with ground pounder characters but I can see myself getting burnt out if that's the only thing my space combat character ends up doing. Especially since I'll probably not make them very good at personal combat.
- I'm thinking of keeping a list of ships and having these ships get modified, at least in the early years where there aren't that many ships this character is commanding and as such each individual ship will get more attention. But the question is, at what level of customization do I have to learn how to make codex subs?
