DESCRIPTION
The Reconstruction and Relief branch of Alderaan Engineering designed the RR2 Readygrow Crop for wartorn civilizations to help reduce the long term effects of the scorched earth policy many governments have begun using during large scale operations.
The crops are mildly bio-engineered to make the growth process shorter, roughly a third the amount of time for normally grown crops. They are contained in a roll of soil with a chicken wire bottom that is rolled out in rows. With the addition of sunlight, the crops will grow fine, already provided enough water inside the hollow bottom wiring. Artificial sunlamps can be provided if necessary.
When the crops are grown, they can be harvested as normal ones might be, however there is noticeably less produce to collect, about half as much as convenentional crops would. The seeds can be recollected and planted again, but they will require fresh soil and water.

- Quick Harvest: The Readygrow comes in a roll that is laid out like sod, unrolled and exposed to sunlight. The wiring beneath is filled with enough water for one harvest. The crops will grow fairly quickly compared to normally grown ones.
