Description: The Oubliette Satchel has absolutely zero relationship to Dreypa's Oubliette. It is a rare item designed to help archaeologists, scholars, containment experts (and thieves) safely handle Items of Dubious Nature. An inner layer of taozin hide muffles odd emanations and dangerous effects, while the layer of high-grade nullification resin not only helps the contents pass undetected, but prevents the taozin hide from confusing the senses of the wearer. The outermost layer is made of tikulini leather, a Force-neutral material capable of resisting serious energy weaponry. The satchel, being fundamentally a leather bag, will not protect its contents from physical impact, including the explosion of a blaster shot.
The Oubliette Satchel is capable of containing negative effects from all but the very nastiest Force-related objects (assuming they fit). It can reliably hide most small Force-related objects (a trinket, a holocron, an amulet, the heart of an especially evil Sithspawn, etc.) from the senses of a Knight at close range (blaster range or closer) and a Master at long range, barring a personal connection between the other and the object.
