Aela's Apartment is neither the fanciest nor the largest that has ever existed, though there is a certain sort of class that hangs within the very room by the simple nature of it's occupant.
The Apartment itself is located at the very top of a newly constructed building within the heart of Woostri's biggest city. The building has a sort of modern feel to it, all harsh lines and corners replaced with gentle curves of durasteel and soft glasteel lines. There is a certain 'modern' look to the building, a look that tells of genuine effort and comfort rather than construction for simple speed. The building offers a pleasant sort of view when looked upon, reflecting a healthy amount of sunlight into the streets below.
Within the building one would find the standard fair. There is underground parking, a lobby with an attendant, a pool for all tenants and of course a gym.
The apartments within the building itself are moderately sized. Most of them are only about a thousand square feet, enough for a small family or young couple just starting out on their own. A few of the apartments are larger, though most stick to the same pattern. At the very top of the building sit the loft apartments, placed there instead of one large Penthouse for a more modern and stylized look.
It is one of these lofts that Aela purchased.
The Loft itself is actually rather bare, more common and less roomy than one might expect. Though the Loft has a tall ceiling and even a walkway that wanders around the tall glass structure, the rest of the Apartment is sort of squished together.
Hardwood floors extend all around, ending only in the bathroom and the kitchen which are both decorated with heavy marble tile. The Bathroom and Bedroom are both separated by heavy wooden doors, ancient in design, though newly carved. The Kitchen is only kept apart from the living room via a small island, with the rest of the apartment having a more open feel to it. A large stone wall with a small hallway leads to a large open study area, and it is here that Aela has placed most of her decorations.
The 'study' is filled with a sofa, Desk, and half a dozen boxes filled with everything from novels to old case files from her days in the SIS.
Though Aela has only lived in the apartment for a very short time there is a definite mark of herself within The Loft, scattered scrolls and the scent of old books hanging in the air. There is a quaintness to the place, as though Aela has tried to add a touch of her parents' house on Borelias to her new home. The large open windows allowing for plenty of sunlight to pour into the apartment at all times.
History:
The History of Aela's Apartment isn't a particularly long one.
The building in which the loft was built in was only recently constructed by a sub-contractor on Woostri who was hired to create more modern housing projects upon the planets limited landscapes. The Contractor hired one of the most popular Architects in the galaxy, a man by the name of Reginald Arten. Mr. Arten designed the building with a style reminiscent of buildings found on Spira and other worlds of a warmer climate.
Once the building finished construction it was split into a number of different condos, including a loft apartment.
The Loft Apartment was eventually bought by Aela Talith using funds her parents had placed within a trust. Though the Loft was rather expensive the trust had more than enough, and her parents' Chief Financial Adviser diligently made sure that she didn't get ripped off. The closing process took only a few weeks, and by the time Aela left Sullust and the New Jedi Order she found the Loft ready for her residence.
Though living on her own was a strange and new prospect for the young woman she quickly found herself acclimated to her new surroundings, furnishing the apartment to her liking and making herself quickly at home.
