STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES (Required: 2 Weaknesses Minimum) :
(+) Duelist: Aethan is a skilled duelist. While he prefers his lightsaber to other forms of weaponry he is still at home using a vibroblade or sword. Under most circumstances he can hold his own against almost any opponent and even multiple opponents of a lesser skill level. He prefers to fight with a single lightsaber but when required he is capable of dueling with two lightsabers or using other more exotic forms of weaponry.
(+) Agile: Exactly what it sounds like. He's agile and dexterous capable of making quick movements, fast attacks or just making motions that all have a certain amount of finesse or grace about them. He has an excellent sense of balance and is capable of preforming basic acrobatics without much effort however more advanced applications still require the correct timing and preparation to be successful.
(+) Keen Senses: Not exactly a sixth sense Aethan's senses are still finely tuned. He can taste the subtle differences in drinks, he can hear light footsteps that someone else might miss and he notices the differences in smell and texture where someone else might not. In social settings this has all kinds of different applications and in combat it can, at the very least, usually save him from walking into a trap completely blind.
(+) Firrerreo Origins: As a Firrerreo Aethan benefits from the standard traits of his race. He can see in the Ultraviolet spectrum of light and the membranes of his eyes also protect him from flying debris and bright flashes of light. He also possesses the standard Firrerreo Healing Factor which enables him to heal minor wounds in minutes and major ones within hours.
(-) Touched by the Dark Side: Even though Aethan is not necessarily evil he understands the benefits of the dark side of the force. Jedi will sense the dark side in him and while they won't mistake him for a Sith this could still make for cool relations with them. Jedi themselves are less likely to trust him completely due to this fact as well.
(-) Lustful: Aethan loves the opposite sex and if he sees something that he wants he'll go after them. He might not be ignorant but he can definitely be blinded by his own lust and manipulated due to it.
(-) Unreliable: There's no telling if Aethan will actually fight or flee. He's a bit of a wildcard. Some might call him a coward but he has no interest in dying so if the odds look to be against him Aethan has no aversion to making a hasty retreat before things turn badly for him. Of course being a wildcard doesn't always bode well for his allies.
APPEARANCE:
Aethan Tannan is an attractive man in his late twenties. He keeps his hair cut short and is usually clean shaven. His eyes boast an intelligent and observant gaze. He's in good physical shape without being overly muscular. It's likely easiest to describe him as having an athletic body type however his muscles have been trained more towards quick reaction times and speed as compared to raw physical power. While Aethan is usually clean, well kept, he isn't afraid to get dirty and when he's exploring a lead he can be seen with a five o'clock shadow and traveling attire that make him appear more rugged than usual.
BIOGRAPHY:
Aethan Tannan grew up the son of a Jedi Knight and his lover. At a young age he was inducted into the teachings of the Jedi by his father but they were never for him. Strictly speaking Aethan was open to the dark side and while early on his contact with anything related to the dark side of the force was limited when he did learn more about it his interest was piqued. That's not say he didn't remain equally interested in learning about the light side though.
Aethan firmly believed, despite the objections of his father, that both light and dark side of the force could be used equally well by a person. They were not forces to redeem or corrupt but rather to be honed, manipulated, by the keen mind. This belief put him at odds with the Jedi Order, as well as his own father, however Aethan was set in his belief. He wouldn't be disuaded and chose to leave the Jedi of his own free will. While he didn't want to turn his back on the order he understood that he wouldn't achieve his goals with it.
As an apprentice Aethan was unusually apt at lightsaber combat. He moved with inherent grace, made fluid attacks, defenses and counters and mastered the basics involving the traditional weapon of the Jedi easily. Even though he left the Jedi Order when he was younger his skills haven't diminished though he will readily admit that his other talents with the force have suffered without proper training. It's a small matter though as Aethan acknowledges that the solitary path takes far longer than the relationship involving Master and Apprentice.
Since leaving the Jedi Order Aethan has become an explorer of sorts. A Treasure Hunter who seeks out rumored Jedi and Sith artifacts that he can use to enhance his own understanding of the force while delving into both paths of knowledge as it were. Thus far his success has been limited however he's always willing to investigate new rumors and more often than not this will bring him into confrontations with other factions. Occasionally he acts as an ally to different factions, other times he acts as an enemy, but regardless of the hat he chooses to wear Aethan believes in what he's doing.
He's dedicated to mastering both the light and dark sides of the force. If he succeeds he might even become the father of a new force tradition.
Force Abilities:
Aethan has a special talent for, what he considers to be, the Kinetic application of the force. His primary abilities focus around manipulating the force to make himself faster and to make his opponents slower however other kinetic applications of the force exist as well. He can agitate the kinetic energy in an area to cause an individual or group of people to become injured dependent on how fast they move due to a backlash of friction. Aside from this Aethan understands basic force powers.

Lightsaber- Aethan's lightsaber uses a Kesha energy crystal. Due to the crystal when activated it helps to clear Aethan's mind from distractions even when he is immersed in combat.
