From his point-of-view, the lives of others are so inconsequential. Though he values the Dathomiri populace, and will do as much to protect his subjects, others he simply can not be bothered to care much about. Unless, they are a direct threat to himself or his people.
A smoldering stare, charming smile, and predatory eyes. Aether can lure in others with the turn of his lips and curl of a finger. Charisma lingers about him and his wit seems to dazzle those of his company. He is well aware of these gifts which places upon him a disgustingly supreme aire of confidence. There is no fear of consequence in much of what he does as he relies upon his natural gifts as well as his alluring disposition.
Unlike many, especially those within positions of power, Aether has a rather questionable control over his temper. Though a tempest can brew deep within, the man is calculating in his maneuvers. There is a deep seeded fascination with the "human" behaviour and watches with a keen interest and fascination to what others do and say. The only moments in which his rage is unleashed is when he or that which he truly cares about is under attack.
Paying no heed to social normality nor social rules, he can be brutally honest. Though the truth is more of a hyperbole when spoken. Nevertheless, he is a master manipulator. He takes great offense to being called a liar as well as when others blame their actions upon him when in fact he hadn't a hand in their actions nor motives.
Aether is amused by and enjoys acting inappropriately nearly in every situation with no matter the circumstance. There is not a foul joke he hasn't heard not told. Flirtatious and fascinated by intimacy, he will use either to his advantage if necessary.
With regards to his misgivings, he does have a more admirable side. Aether is truly loyal to those of importance to him. There are moments of remorse over his judgment errors of the past, though he forces himself to not reminisce too long on such accounts. At times he can be emotionally vulnerable, but those are rare and not many know how to invoke this reaction.
