- Breathe Easy: Advanced air filters scrub foreign contaminants and prevent exposure to dangerous pollutants.
- Regenerative: Laminanium has self-regenerative capabilities thanks to its innate ability to melt and reform at most temperatures, allowing for minor damage to be repaired in the field.

- Who's Geiger?: Overexposure to radiation will overload the suit's systems, causing failures that ultimately result in injury to the wearer.
- Radio Silent: While the suit's internal comms network is robust, it is not immune to EMP/ION blasts. Communications will be among the first systems to fail under such an attack.

Research and development took place on Rori, Naboo's jungle moon, though actual live-fire testing -and eventually the suit's maiden voyage- occurred on Veruna. The Aether-pattern EVA suit underwent extensive testing to ensure that expeditionary forces were equally protected as they were mobile, a vital combination that often made the difference between life and death in the Netherworld. With this suit, Republic explorers are well-equipped for the dangers of the Nether's landscape and lifeforms.
By alternating layers of molytex and quantum fiber, Theed Arms was able to produce a flexible, lightweight EVA suit capable of withstanding both kinetic and energy-based impacts. Laminanium plating on the boots, kneepads, elbows, and helmet allow for self-repair of non-critical damage. The helmet's transparisteel visor is segmented into a triangular configuration to dampen direct blows that may occur while exploring. On the interior of the helmet, a digital HUD provides the wearer with tactical information regarding the team, their immediate surroundings, and analytical data gathered in the field. A dedicated communications link enables team members to communicate natively without relying on a pre-existing comms network.
