Afraid of heights? (Open)

Sorik woke up feeling warm. He felt his leg. He had burnt skin, most likely caused by a blaster bolt. He had no idea where he was, so he looked around. he was in a dark, moist and warm confined space. He crawled around a little and found a vent leading to some orange light that looked all but natural. He kicked it open to find an endless chasm underneath the vent. This chasm was filled with gasses. At that instant, he remembered the events that transpired earlier and why his leg was injured.

"Damn it!" Sorik exclaimed. He knew that he needed to find someone who could help him catch the thief of the old Sith weapon.

Sorik eventually found his way out of the ventilation system and tried to walk inconspicuously down the streets of Cloud City. He always wanted to come here as a kid, but now that he is here, he truly sees how much of a dump it is. Sorik saw a store that sold robes. He checked his pockets and felt a few credits in them. "Finally, a stroke of luck.", He said quietly.

Sorik limped up to the Utapaun shop owner and asked "How much for a cloak?"
The dealer asked "With a hood or without?"Sorik replied "With please."The dealer replied "Fifteen Credits."Sorik had twenty credits, so he looked around the store for awhile. He eventually found a snack and decided to get that too. "One hooded cloak and a sixteen ounce bag of Wampa Jerky please." The Owner quickly rung up the items and said " Twenty-one credits please." Sorik exchanged the Wampa Jerky for some water and left the store hungry. "Now to find someone that can help." Sorik thought.

Sorik walked down the streets looking for someone that looked shady enough to be able to tell him how to find an illegal investigator. He eventually found a Rodian by the name of Culk. "Hey, Culk, do you know any non licensed investigators around here? Asked Sorik. "What's in it for me?" Culk greedily responded. Sorik reached into his pocket to offer one of the Lightsaber crystals that he stole off of a genosian shopkeeper, but then he remembered that he only had two. He still needed to be able to pay the investigator. Sorik then said "How about three credits, and I wont beat the crap out of you?" The Rodian responded "Alright, his name is Faragnar, and he's on Lucan avenue. Be careful though, there are lots of thugs out there. Sorik tossed the rodian the credits and went on his way. "So much for lunch." Sorik thought hungirly.

RIP Carlyle Rausgeber

"It's all been bloody marvellous..."

The streets of Cloud City were packed with civilians, as they began to pick up their lives through the chaos and destruction that the Galactic Alliance had wrought upon them. Admiral Carlyle Rausgeber was the man Supreme Commander Asharad Graush had put in charge of the reconstruction effort. So far Carlyle had spent the last week, organising the refortifying of Cloud City, and the rebuilding of defensive structures including the Planetary Defence Force barracks. Now was the time to rebuild civilian structures, and ensure the city was now habitable.

Flanked by stormtroopers, Carlyle decided to step out into the streets, in an attempt to gauge the mood of the citizenry. Carlyle lacked the self awareness to realise that perhaps the troops were a little intimidating, though he did attempt to make idle chatter and small talk with the stallholders he stopped by at. The responses were largely receptive, many were happy that the military was repairing, but what Carlyle gauged was a wish for mining infrastructure to be reconstructed as soon as possible, something he did file away.

The admiral noted an oncoming Twi'lek and stopped him, "Hello citizen," Carlyle began, appraising the glum looking chap, "You look awfully glum there, is there something the matter?" The admiral asked curtly.
