SPECIAL FEATURES
Designed by Sasori as an answer to the solarium glassteel. A very impressive and helpful material that could go a long way but having the means to manufacture their own materials was important. The crystasteel was given a latticework within it to collect and transfer solar energy into smaller capacitors along the side. Going into the ship that can then be allocated to other uses. The panel itself is different compared to many and has some small added effects, notable it is able to emit a soft glow and appears almost like a thin sheet of ice coating the glass. Closer inspection shows that there are thousands of machined faceted areas on the surface. looking like an insects eye with millions of tiny flat surfaces slanting in all directions. The intricacy of it allows minor amounts of light to diffuse across the facets creating a small soft glow of the panels. The panels as viewports and windows serve for the ships needs but they are still structurally one of the weaker points of the ship without the layered hull armor.

SPECIAL FEATURES
- General Protection: Designed to be a starship viewport, it isn't really stronger then average panels but it is strong enough so that is won't crack and fail from a small piece of debris hitting it at high speeds
- Power Source: Trace solar collection capabilities that can provide and over time store of trace amounts of energy. It won't do much to power a ships engines but the caf pot or sonic razor to shave sure
- Weak Point: While viewports are fairly strong and in some cases crystasteel is stronger then glassteel it is still not hull armor which is layered. It is the weakest point of a ship and usually the first place to really show cracks
