Afternoon in the hospital

Major Faction

Syn

Nimir-ra to Iella, Jedi Shadow
CORUSCANT MEDICAL CENTER

Syn stood with his arms crossed while looking on into the room, at this moment it was all in @[member="Aleidis Ijet"]s hands. The girl was talented but he was not sure could be done. @[member="Isis Fontana"] had been on Metalorn and her weapon arm injured with a saber duel. The sword and it had been a sword not saber gave a clean cut. Now there might be a chance to reattach it... Maybe and he wasn't going to waste such a thing. Perhaps build some good will with the girl to fix all the ill that had come. Offering nothing more then a stare from under his sash he was more then willing to hear what Aleidis knew. Maybe the girls with their secret meanings to simple questions could and would fix that rift. He also made a mental note not to bring up the garden.

Sitting there Isis stares up at the ceiling, as she allows her mind to flow through thought she awaits her fate yet as she lays in the hospital bed she can wait for whatever it is that will be her future, she is set on returning to the republic, only if she needs to to preserve her own life yet as she remains she allows the light side to calm her mind and to calm her nerves and takes a few deep, slow breathes.

As she looks over at @[member="Syn"] she can't help but be surprised they haven't arrested her yet, she was at one time a hated member of the galaxy, the jedi at one time were more willing to send hit teams after her than anything else, they were at one time more willing to try and kill her than to try and save her but now they wish to help? she is very skeptical, since they tried to come after her on numerous accounts, she also doesn't like being here much more than they can stomach her....she wants nothing but the end of the republic but is willing to return.....for the greater good she'd do anything right now. Waiting for @[member="Aleidis Ijet"] she waits for absolution.

The last time Aleidis has spoken to Isis Fontana, she'd been two years younger and Isis had been blonde. Isis had also tried to mind trick her just to see if she could, and had then fled the Jedi to join the Sith.

The next time Aleidis had heard hide or hair of Isis, Isis had sent a hitman to kill her.

As such, Aleidis wasn't completely sure how to react to the news that Isis was being brought back to the Jedi order. Color her hopeful, but skeptical. Aleidis was still the same inherently optimistic girl who'd lounged in the garden just over two years ago, but she HAD (despite what some people thought) learned pragmatism. The newly elected Supreme Chancellor let herself into the room with Syn and Isis in it, wearing a simple white blouse and black trousers, pulling on a pair of latex gloves.

"Good morning, Isis. I see that you're beside yourself." Aleidis quipped. Yes, the turncoat seemed calm. Aleidis was trying to make light of the fact that Isis' hand lay in a preservation cryotube next to her bed. "...that was in bad taste. I'm sorry." Not everybody liked puns. Especially not when those puns involved their dismembered limbs.

"How are you feeling? Are the painkillers taking enough of the edge off?" Alei inquired as she sat at Isis' bedside and began inspecting the bandages around her stumped wrist. Re-attatching a limb was no easy process - just about the only way to retain sensation and full motor control was by re-attaching the thousands of tiny nerves. So, naturally, Aleidis had been called in. Minute repair was kind of her thing.

Since Isis left the republic and the jedi behind she had gotten used to pain, the deliverance of energies that transferred themselves into power from pain was a mighty thing and she had gone through a lot of pain since then, it had been quite some time...she had gone through a lot, she had given birth to the first hybrid of the vortek since the taung and an unknown species of vortusa had mated and brought together the race of warrior elites known as the Vortek.

She didn't answer Aleidis comment, she didn't need to so she just remained silent and observed but she did snicker at her when she mentioned the pun, it had been a long while since she seen @[member="Aleidis Ijet"] last, and It had been a very haunting semblance just seeing her for the first time opposing Isis work, but now they were not enemies but for now allies, granted Isis had become a turncoat and she had become a threat to even herself, but for now she would hang up her coat and no longer work for the evil of this galaxy, but she also looked at @[member="Syn"]...the man was standing near the door, he possibly was here because they knew Isis could easily kill the now Jedi Master turned politician of the republic, it would be a feat she would not do.

Syn stayed in the door but could hear everything he needed to. There was little reason beyond making sure the girl was genuine for him to be here, though the idea of seeing Aleidis was pleasing. He hadn't seen her since... Well for awhile, Metalorn she was there within distance but he never made it to the city to help out. He had taken care of the shield generator and slowly he closed the door while moving to a seat in the room. He sat down folding his hand together over his chest and speaking while looking at them both. "Do you think your skills can help Chancellor?"

"Almost certianly." Aleidis said without a moment's hesitation, lifting the bandages away from Isis' severed stump of a hand. Art of the Small - a skill virtually unheard of, due to it's lack of practical combat applications - was in her opinion made for such things. She carefully removed Isis' hand from the cryotube, and lay it beside her on the bed. "It'll take close to an hour to reattatch, I think. So - Isis - try not to move at all. If I reconnect the wrong thing, your fingers might get all screwed up or something." She explained patiently.

And with that, Aleidis began her long work. Despite the painkillers, Isis would feel the faint, tickling sensation that was unique to Aleidis' work - as she pulled each individual nerve out with the force and re-attatched it, slowly connecting hand to stump. She had little to say; the skill required incredible concentration.

Isis heard the woman and allowed her to perform her magic on the severed limb, as she went to work Isis was put through enormous pain as she had to actually physically touch the severed part of Isis' body, she looked at the little girl she had at one time gotten to believe in herself, she remembered the conversation going something like aleidis feeling she would never become a Jedi Master due to being frail, or something like that...Isis knew it was possible and knew she would achieve it happening, as Aleidis helped to reattach Isis' severed limb Isis watched it happening and kept very still and immobile, she was fascinated with how it was happening.

As the time continued to pass Isis watched with fascination as the limb was reattached and felt the nerves being painfully touched, the girl was indeed good at being a healer, especially if she could reattach her arm at her age, yet as she remained still she focused on the procedure more than the pain, Isis had not taken any pain medication and so she laid there ridiculed with severe pain that she just controlled and contained in herself.

The jedi master only gave a nod of his head, the time he could wait on. This wasn't something east otherwise the droids could have done it. No he just shifted and came to the other side of the bed placing a hand on Isis's shoulder. It wasn't rough it was for comfort while he let the force pool in his hand then be pushed down into her. To soothe and to calm. "It is okay Isis, the order is here for you, your daughter Nefas is waiting for you to come home." Yes he knew about her daughter and with a smirk remained very still. "She misses you greatly."

Aleidis quietly worked, only glancing up as Syn spoke. She didn't have much to contribute to the conversation - her mind and Force prowess were focused to a microscopic scale, so that she had the minute finesse required to stitch nerve to nerve and limb to stump. "If you could tell me more about what's been done to your blood, Isis, I can begin working to repair the damage." Aleidis said quietly, laying a hand carefully over the wound. She'd stitched bone, knit nerves and connected cells. The sensation hadn't returned quite yet, but for now, the hard part was done - now she only needed to repair the flesh and skin, something Aleidis could have done in her sleep.

Isis had heard @[member="Syn"] and only felt more irritated as he informed her of her own daughter missing her, she felt she had failed Nefas due to Nefas being a Jedi and now she feels she has failed Twin for turning back to the order, but she has a mission to complete and keeping her mind focused so that it can't be read very easily is one thing she intends to do, utilizing a mind trait that only the vortek know about she enables her mind to focus only one what the Jedi would consider valid as her being one of them, she is not yet one of them.

As Isis laid there in the bed she watched as the girl reattached her arm and played with the nerves, somehow Isis felt it was very comforting and so badly wanted to fall asleep, she wanted just to rest as it all was taking a toll on her and she remembered the last thing twin told her, then she looked up at @[member="Syn"] I miss her, is nefas doing well? she asked calmly and adopting a calm concern for her own daughter, she then looked at @[member="Aleidis Ijet"] only after hearing her ask a question.

My blood has been turned to produce sith poison, It runs rampantly through my body.... she said as she laid there waiting for the girl to respond to her.

Syn looked and remained very still while looking at Isis. He didn't read minds, he wasn't that kind of jedi though he knew how to mess with someones head. No he could smell and hear the changes of ones body. He kept his mouth set before speaking. "She is doing fine, when she came to us and asked to be trained. I admit to surprise but she has shown out suspicions to be wrong." He then heard the sith poison and spoke with a small sneer. "If your blood was made into poison it will be harder, what was done to you... Is not even something my make would have done. It is too random and chaotic. Like the work a child does, I am surprised you didn't succumb to the poisons and kneel over. What else was done to you?"

She had no idea what they were on about and felt it was a weird question but answered anyway My appearance was changed from what you knew of me last and what you see now, my tongue became three tendrils and my blood was mixed with sith poison other than that I have no clue what you're asking of me she replied as she laid there waiting for @[member="Aleidis Ijet"] to finish with her work.

Aleidis sighed as she removed her hands from Isis' wrist, then she carefully removed her gloves and set them into a trash can. "We'll need to purify your blood before you can return to active duty among the Jedi." The Ghostling explained simply. "I can do it, Isis. Don't worry. I'm not so sure about the other modifications made to your body - the tongue and what not, but I can remove the poison from your system and return your body to normal function." She promised.

"It will take a few hours to do. It'd be easier on us both if you were asleep for it, as it'll be a painful process." Aleidis explained gently. "Do I have your permission to guide you to sleep?"

Isis regarded Aleidis with confusion and malice but calmed her mind and then answered as she laid there adopting a more friendly expression If you think it'll work Aleidis then you have my consent she said and then smirked at her, she was wondering how the once quirky teenager was doing, a lot of time had passed and Isis truly regretted most of the things she did especially to the Jedi and Republic.

Aleidis nodded and, with Isis' consent, dropped her once-ally into the deep, coma-like trance of Morichro. Despite her gut feeling that Isis was setting them up for some sort of disaster or would turncoat again, she forced herself to put aside her misgivings in order to do some good. To save a life. And to purify the darkness that flowed through Isis Fontana's veins. Carefully, gently, Aleidis folded Isis' arms over her chest, then set up an IV line, essentially hooking the tainted currently-Jedi up to a dialysis machine.

"Be careful with this one, Varadun." The Ghostling said softly as she began working - removing the poison directly from Isis' veins using Art of the Small, rendering inert what she could not destroy outright. It was intense work, hard work. "I want to believe the best of her. But please, just be careful. Observe her." Aleidis requested simply.

Then, she got comfortable. She began to work. Some healers chose to stand or sit on the floor to do their craft, but Aleidis found that TRUE healing, lengthy care, required lumbar support. And so, she'd found a chair to sit in, and painstakingly remove the vile Sith poison from Isis' veins and set right what Circe Savan had ruined all that time ago.

Several hours - close to ten - Isis would begin to wake up, guided from the most restful sleep of her life by Aleidis. Morichro was used to put people into a coma, after all, and without a person to guide them awake, a person subjected to Morichro could die. Aleidis sat, exhausted, but her work was done. "I've removed every trace of Sith poison from your body, Isis." Aleidis said with an exhausted smile, hands folded on her lap. "...how do you feel?"

Syn let Aleidis put isis to sleep and then she spoke. His head didn't have to turn a little as he spoke. "I smelled it, her mind may be a mess but the body gives plenty away. She will be watched while being cared for and should she try something It might not be pleasant." Then he stopped pulling a seat over while waiting for Aleidis to finish. He wasn't going to leave either alone for the time being as Aleidis healed her. The sith poison and tongue, the corruption he pushed his own energy to try and help. He wsn't a healer like Aleidis but he knew how to help and that wasn't on Isis. He focused on Aleidis that same way Feena had taught him to use your will never to be tired or sore.

Then as time went on he waited until finally Aleidis was done and waking Isis up. Hopefully neither would be to hurt in the end while he stood up. "I hope you are feeling well Isis."

Isis was put to sleep and as this went on she felt peaceful and lost most her aggression toward the Jedi; as she rested she dreamed of wars and chaos yet as she slept she felt as if she were at peace, when she was among the sith she felt like she had purpose and felt like she had a life, she felt more alive and free and felt as if she were more tuned in to the force.

As she rested she did so with the hopes aleidis would not leave her in a coma or kill her, but then she started to reawaken and found it was a reassuring thing, she found it was peaceful.....Isis then was asked how she was feeling Better she said as she smirked at them both and then looked at her arm, it was painful but she'd take the pain.

Truth be told, if Isis' arm hurt, it was entirely psycho-somatic. There was physically nothing wrong with it, aside from the usually weariness and sluggishness that came with large-scale dialysis. But after getting her hand cut off and re-attatched, it stood to reason that the conflict between mind and body would result in some aching.

Aleidis stood up and wiped her hands off, giving a weary smile at her own handiwork. She'd done well today. "Now, for the next month, I want you to eat a lot of protein, Isis. Red meats, green veggies. Your body has to produce new platelets to replace the corrupted ones I removed." She explained. "You'll likely be a little sluggish in the morning for about a week, and might get light-headed from time to time, but it'll pass. Like I said - eats lots of protein, even bodybuilders shakes might be a good idea. And take it easy for a bit before you try and dive back into duty. Doctor's Orders, alright?"

Isis heard the doctor-slash-chancellor and smirked, her mind was foggy and her arm still ached but she didn't care, she had her original back and was contained by the light side as it was radiating to her, trying to make contact and corrupt her....as she laid there she remained focused on her main objective...and objective she would not tell any of them since they were on her list.

As she held her mind sight her body naturally was in a tug-o-war conflict as the light side tried to take her but the dark side fought to keep her, it was weird really...but the dark side was slowly being strangled from her and her soul was screaming to hide from the light, as aleidis finished speaking Isis looked at the girl and smirked and then responded So naive she scolded and then glared at Aleidis, she would not dare and try to fight against the chancellor, not with the by products of the dark side protecting her and then she looked at @[member="Syn"] You don't need to be so strained, I am not a threat to your order with an arm still in healing she tried to reassure him.

Truthfully a Vortek could never eat meat, it was not possible as it was taboo to them and so wrong...as she remained she just focused on her own mind to silence it from the jedi peering into it and stealing her thoughts. For now she would show them loyalty but eventually she would leave their order a new person and her visions complete.

Syn just looked at Isis and still didn't need to peer into her mind. He had far more useful tools at his disposal when it came to reading people and spoke. "You won't be a threat when your fully healed either Isis, understand that your life was spared because we do not kill our prisoners. We can exile you and strip the force but the jedi hold no ill will towards you. The old council treated the situation wrong and such many suffered. You were driven into the arms of a thing that is too many impolite words directed at your gender. You fell to the sith and had a daughter who feared for you, who ran here because she looked upon her family with fear or maybe shame or even pity." Then he remained very still and removed his hand from her bed to keep looking down. "As for the rest Isis, know that the jedi can be your home, we can be your friends or in your sickness tormentors to handle the madness. We will not force you to stay but it could heal your heart if you do. There is no place more helpful then Tython to recouperate."
