“Within the clouds there are seeds of misdoubt.” The hooded face of the Supreme Leader was projected across the communication room buried deep within the Retribution-Star Destroyer. Belis had departed there as soon as he had heard the demand for an audience by Rear-Admiral Kilken as they had both stood discussing matters on the bridge of the Vindicator, matters that were easy to pause for the Supreme Leader.
“Within the clouds My Lord?” Belis was sat within the single chair, his form forward and arched as his hands formed a small arch in his lap. It was a clarifying question, to sound confused would create a questionable mind set which for Belis who had Sieger Ren’s favour was not desirable. “Bespin?”
“Your insights serve you well.” Sieger said with a smile that went unseen thanks to the thick and heavy cloth hood that concealed his features. “I would dispatch no other to deal with this issue my child. You must go to the Anoat system and seek out the source of this misdoubt before it finds roots within our plans, use any means necessary to fulfil your mission.”
Belis regarded the words of his mentor as he did the hooded form of Sieger himself. “As you wish My Lord.”
“Good. Go now my Ren and alert me once the deed has been done.” The hologram flicked and disappeared leaving Belis alone to depart the holo-communication room and head back out to the corridors of the Vindicator.
“My Lord, I must express my warnings about your intention to depart for Bespin alone.” Again Kilken was stood near Belis’ flank, however rather than the bridge they were stood instead within one of the hanger bays of the Retribution-Class Star Destroyer. “Allow me to insure that you have an escort of troops at the least.”
“Rear-Admiral I am more than capable of undertaking this task unassisted.” Belis was wearing his Knight armour again, the voice modulation assuring his tone was darker and more to the point. “It is not the first time I have undertaken such a task.”
“I never doubted your ability my lord Ren.” Kilken looked perplexed at the Knight his face showing genuine concern for the agent of the First Order. “Only the rumours of this rebel activity, we do not need such actions blowing out of proportion.”
“Which is exactly why I should go alone.” Belis moved towards his command shuttle which usually would transfer himself and any of the other Ren into combat zones on the rear of a stormtrooper direct assault. Today he would instead take the Prime Shadow which was docked to the side of the shuttle, a ship that had been at the forefront of his operations, the stealth capabilities as well as it’s low profile would easily suite his mission. “Do not linger long Rear-Admiral, my ship is capable of getting me back to Dosuun.”
“Of course Belis.” The officer stopped at the base of the Prime Shadow. “We have been recalled. It seems the Supreme Commander has something special planned.”
“Very good, best not keep him waiting.” Belis disappeared into the Prime Shadow and left the Rear-Admiral to watch on as the ramp closed and sealed.
Usually the craft was piloted by [member="Daska Tess"], a skilled and favoured pilot by Belis at the least, but today he would do this alone. The 181st was required elsewhere in the First Order operational theatre and her skill set was instrumental to their cause.
Removing the Prime Shadow from the dock he allowed her to exit the great expanse of the Star Destroyer before inputting the co-ordinates towards the Anoat system.
With the blur of stars Belis jumped into hyperspace and left the Vindicator far behind.
