Isn't the Star Wars universe human life span like... into the hundreds? I remember reading during the NJO period that 60 was the new 30 because all the OT characters were old as dirt and still running around. So my understanding was that humans lived a good deal longer in the SW verse than the real-world verse.

Humans live about the same. Force-users live a lifespan that's longer by a good margin. Your average human can expect to live into their 80's, maybe 90's and do so comfortably.
Force Using humans can last into their 130's, maybe even 140's. Force helps keep them alive longer. The same goes for other species in regards to how long they'll stay alive.
