Agnekye used to be an Aqualish-owned baradium mining operation, but the vein ran dry decades ago. In 845ABY, Whiphid raiders bought the remote hilltop site and set it up as a hideout. They moved in some large guns, a great sensor grid, and a shield generator big enough to cover a landed capital ship or two.
Velok the Youngest...acquired...the hideout in 858ABY. Two years later, he coerced a Jedi prince into paying him one billion credits. He used a small fraction to beef up the hideout and give it proper defenses. As an energetic young boar of ninety, he also installed various entertainment systems. A typical evening at Agnekye involves a large roast animal, several dozen gallons of beer, and dominating at games like Alcoholic Massacre.
