HISTORY

In the beginning, Agravain's life has been remarkable.

During infancy, he had been gifted by his parents to the Jedi Order of Coruscant. He knew nothing of his heritage, save for the fact that Manda was his homeworld. He was raised in the shadow of the Galactic Republic, and thus his formative years were spent on the battlefield. The role of Jedi in that era was synonymous with warrior - and thus he knew nothing save clashes with the Dark Side. His service and progression was enough that he had ascended to the rank of Jedi Knight early in his adulthood. In time, the Galactic Republic collapsed - and with it, the Jedi Order of Coruscant.

Many of his peers took up residence and roles in service to new nations. The Silver Jedi or the Galactic Alliance following them. Yet, Agravain chose a different path, opting to travel the stars doing good abroad. His journey bore much fruit, and along the way he made many exceptional acquaintances. One such was Faegard Faegard . They became fast friends, despite their vastly different interpretations of the Force. On one day in particular, she had informed him of an estate that was exceedingly oppressive to its surrounding countryside. Ever the hero, Agravain made the journey to investigate - only to find that the manor was home to an ageless creature. The mistress of the house was a monster who managed to overpower the Jedi.

Her infection then took root, tearing him from the world of the living. Agravain awoke, tattered and covered in the blood of so many. He did not recall how long he had been in a stupor. But the mistress of the estate was there. She chided him, called him a true killer, and set him free upon the countryside. At first, Agravain did not understand what this freedom meant - that is, until he smelled a fresh Human. All restraint was lost and he killed. That same countryside he desired to save became his personal Hell. He devoured the men. Women. Children. All were broken before his fangs. And, once his thirst was satisfied, Agravain realized the depths of his sin.

He did not return to the estate - for fear that he would be unleashed on another rampage. Rather, he stumbled back to his vessel and returned to one of the many hovels he called home. He resolved to be alone. Resolved to suppress the hunger and figure out a cure for his predicament. Yet, despite his meditations, the burning thirst nagged at his soul. That is when she found him. Faegard returned, hearing of the devastation unleashed upon the countryside. She feared the worst, yet paid the price for her concern. Because it was his friend, he managed to exercise some morsel of restraint. Only due to this was her life spared...if one could even call it that.

She, too, was torn from mortality. She, too, was turned into a monstrosity.

Yet, whilst Agravain loathed his condition, Faegard took solace in it. From that instant, he felt the burden of responsbility for her well-being settle upon his shoulders. And, though their travels and paths diverged quite frequently, he would always see to her safety.

In the modern era, Agravain found himself in a truly unique predicament. His travels were effectively identical to the same which had turned him, ultimately resulting in a visit to Ukio. There, he discovered the Overliege preying upon the daughters of the people, no different than that old mistress of the estate. Here, Agravain did what he longed to do to that demonic woman. He rent the man's head clean from his shoulders. With the people truly free of the abuse, he resolved to continue on his way...until they began to kneel. At was at their instance that he adopted that very mantle. Overliege. One which he truly did not desire. Perhaps that was the key to the peaceful rule of a world: a genuine desire to not.
