Dominion Agressive Reactions (GREY FORCES DOM OF TAKODONA)

Zaiden rested his chin upon his palm. His thoughts were to the near future, while his body ached it didn't hinder him. It had been about a week since his rescue, and it showed drastically. Nearly healed, the major signs of the events that had occured was simply his damaged right knee, and some still minor bruising and inflammation in other locales.

He was also nearing a battlefield. Having chosen Takodona as his next target, Zaiden rationalized his eager attempts at battle as simple growth - but part of him knew it was a trepidation. Bolt had shook him. He needed to prove to himself now that he was still capable, that he was still the man, the myth, the legend.

Glancing to Aesro, he said calmly, "Tell me my friend, am I being childish? I feel as if part of me is only doing this to show I'm still a badass, even if Bolt took me down." He paused a moment, "No don't answer that."

Reaching into his pocket, Zaiden withdrew a small sphere that had several small holes along it's surface. It was a training tool that would utilize thrusters to attack it's target like a dive bomber, each hold at different vectors being the thrusters.

Like lightning he hurled the tool at Aesro, "Dodge." It would zip at him at far faster speeds than one predicted it could, "You will not use a weapon, a deflection, or any other manipulation. Simply dodge. It will track your movement.

"Oh and it won't stop even when we land. You will stay in constant motion. Don't stop. Dodge, shift, spin, move. All the while possibly entering battle with it still at your behind." Zaiden cracked a grin, "I used it myself once. It was harder than frak. Trust me."

Already the little ball was circling Aesro, readying to hit him the face. When it suddenly charged his direction, it moved swift and without warning. Being a ball and not more, it was unpredictable as well. It was a means to train every Force Reflex, as well as Force Speed. Move fast and proper, and no bruises. Move even a little sluggish and you are frakked.

"Sir, we are nearing our destination."

"Hail the others, tell them to ready and mark the LZ." Zaiden replied.

In the hierarchy Kua wasn't overly important; a force apprentice and servant that seemed to remain mostly unnoticed. Aesro was the apprentice that received the lion's share of the master's attention - but it was warranted...Aesro seemed to be exactly what the master was looking for in a student. After all Aesro was talented, ambitious, and fiercely loyal to the master; he had earned the attention.

Kua sat and watched with his blood red gaze, listening as Zaiden trained Aesro in speed and agility. These excercises were familiar to Kua - most of his training he had received in his early days involved honing these very skills. Kua wasn't usually expected to be a combatant, it wasn't in his nature. He was more useful for Intel, distraction, resource theft, and other indirect means of manipulating the enemy.

Kua could recall his experiences as a child - ducking, rolling and dodging multiple orbs that swirled around him from all sides. The bruises taught him quickly not to let the orbs connect with him. The master that had trained Kua was brutal... A menace that the Lepi had been lucky to escape. He had a better master in Zaiden now...but in the end... was he a worthy apprentice in any way?

He frowned inwardly, staring at his master. The Lepi felt an immense guilt eating at him inside - he had given up on Zaiden too soon. After he had disappeared, Kua searched within the force for his master for some time, though after a while he simply couldn't hold hope any longer. Presuming Zaiden dead, Kua had moved on... expecting that the search for Zaiden need not continue. But here Zaiden was, alive and mending now. Kua was infinitely grateful that Zaiden had made it out alive, but it didn't help the guilt.

Swallowing hard, Kua remained entirely silent as he watched the training. He spoke very little since the disappearance of the master, and even less since Zaiden's return. A mute observer, he would respond if he was spoken to or needed, but otherwise the grey Lepi seemed content to remain out of the way.

Now that Zaiden Dean Zaiden Dean was back Aesro happily could return fully to matters more of following orders. Even though he might be free slavery. He still preferred to be told what to do. It allowed him the choice to obey, which he did indeed take. Things were just easier this way than trying to do it himself. And now they were given a new objective. He glanced at Zaiden as he spoke to him, but though a question was posed, he was not really expected to answer. He wasn't even sure he had one. Because in his mind, what wrong is there to want to prove you were still able after something like that? As long as you were indeed able.

However he would be given a task, and an unusual one perhaps, as Zaiden brought out an orb. Instead of the typical blaster training droid, this one lunged only a moment after Zaiden said the word "Dodge." He had to resist the natural urge to simply straight up grab it with his free hand and as a result only narrowly avoided the thing with an uttered grunt in response. He listened to Zaiden, his eyes skipping between him and the ball as his face furrowed its brow occasionally a smile twitching on his face. This wasn't the training he was particularly fond of. He was naturally inclined to fight back or take the hit. Neither of which were the appropriate response at this moment.

He again leapt out of the way as it rushed past him. He couldn't predict its movements that was true. It was fast as kark and had no real markers for when it was going to go off. However he could predict it's route, towards him. Which meant once it moved, he just had to not be where he was a moment ago. Which he would discover would not be as easy as it necessarily seemed. Because both eyebrows got raised as Zaiden mentioned that it would continue even after they landed. He had the stamina to keep this up sure, but the attention and speed to dodge it while they actively did possible combat scenarios? That was...much more questionable. He nearly spoke out about it but shut his mouth and simply answered with, "I'll do my best master."

He never was the talkative one. Aesro most often maintained his silent and obedient tendencies when in the presence of anyone of higher authority. He might talk more often to people his ranking, and even more to people below it. But he was rarely comfortable doing so. His attention remained mostly focused on the droid, and several times, if someone was keen enough, they could see him tense a muscle in preparation to attack it or grab it, before remembering not to deflect or manipulate it and having to jump out of the way only narrowly avoiding it. Before they hit the ground, he knew he'd get hit at least once or twice.

If it wasn't for this, and that they had a mission to accomplish, he might have been more inclined to actually strike up conversation with another apprentice on board. Kua Kua who also remained quiet. The Zabrak was unfamiliar with him, but they were both apprentices so he saw no reason for there to be any trouble between them unless some other reason would provoke it. As had happened before with others. Aesro was not prideful of himself, but he could be more stubborn than he should around others.
