Description:
The Aisesir Eulopt 0,0,0, AE3 for short, was designed after the Infinite Empire had invaded Garan[Byss]. It was named after the primary purpose for it's creation, to rip through Rakata flesh. The resistance forces needed a weapon that was smaller and easier to conceal than a larger assault rifle had been and easy enough to handle by anyone given one. The need for long range combat was handled by other guns, this was a gun that could be handed to any Garani, pointed at a Rakata, and fired with the intent of hitting them whether aiming effectively or not due to the short combat range. Accuracy could be increased by using the folding wire stock but best results for accuracy were done on semi-auto or choosing to fire in bursts rather than laying on the trigger. The result was the AE3, which provided an eighteen round magazine loaded with previously illegal hollowpoint rounds. It had a very high rate of fire so that a Garan could empty the magazine in nearly an instant if under duress to put as much death flying through the air as possible before being cut down by the alien invaders. The hollowpoints were used so that if a round struck home against the Rakata it would cause as much damage as physically possible, while adding to the difficulty of treating the wounded if they survived.
Production was done on the largest scale that they could manage. Many of the AE3's being produced by machinery while even more were being hand created at manual machines to keep production as high as possible. Ammunition was quickly becoming scarce and a waste of materials to continue making cartridges so reloaded ammunition essentially became the standard round. The barrels were quickly lined with chrome when available to help ease up on the number of times that the barrel needed to be cleaned. Chrome was usually only provided to units that regularly returned with their weapons as the chrome was relatively rare and couldn't be wasted on civilians who had a low chance of returning with their weapons, or returning at all.
The AE3 was designed to be able to incorporate silencers, multiple sights to aid in what limited aiming was used, and multiple magazine sizes were implemented depending on the task. All of these attachments and modifications were reserved for special forces in the resistance while civilians and basic soldiers were provided with the standard AE3.
The weapon was also issued to each refugee aboard the three ships launched into space in hopes of finding a new home away from the Infinite Empire or finding allies to help against the alien menace. Each stasis pod was paired up with one of these weapons for personal defense upon being awoken to help against native wildlife or hostile aliens that they run across. It is compact enough to easily store in any packs or to have slung over the shoulder with a sling. Upon reawakening on Endor, Torjesgo left with his own before the self-destruct sequence of the ship obliterated the remaining stored away aboard the transport.
