PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS
Ailmar is a complex individual, embodying a mixture of admirable qualities and challenging traits. On one hand, he is idealistic and compassionate, driven by a deep-seated desire to create positive change and make the galaxy a better place for all sentient beings. His unwavering optimism and belief in the inherent goodness of others inspire those around him, fostering a sense of hope and camaraderie in the face of adversity.
However, Ailmar's idealism can sometimes border on naivety, leading him to underestimate the complexities of the galaxy and trust others too readily. His stubbornness and impulsive nature can also pose challenges, as he may become overly attached to his own ideas and act hastily without fully considering the consequences. Despite surrounding himself with professionals, Ailmar's lack of experience in certain areas, coupled with his tendency to be overbearing and micromanage tasks, can strain relationships and impede progress.
Yet, Ailmar's willingness to listen to others and consider alternative viewpoints demonstrates a degree of open-mindedness and flexibility. While he may struggle with indecisiveness at times, his commitment to teamwork and collaboration allows him to leverage the diverse perspectives of his colleagues to overcome challenges and achieve shared goals. Despite his flaws, Ailmar's resilience and determination remain unwavering, driving him to persevere in the face of setbacks and continue striving towards his vision of a better, more just galaxy.
STRENGTHS
A born leader: Despite his lack of experience in both warfare and business management, Ailmar has wisely surrounded himself with professionals. He values teamwork and collaboration, recognizing the importance of working together with others to achieve shared goals. He is flexible and adaptable, able to navigate uncertain situations and adjust his approach as needed to overcome challenges. He is receptive to new ideas and perspectives, willing to listen to others and consider alternative viewpoints before making decisions.
Optimistic: Even after experiencing the galaxy's atrocities from a tender age, Ailmar maintains an unshakable faith in the average soul. He holds those strong ideals and beliefs, often driven by a desire to create positive change and make the galaxy a better place for all. He adheres to a strong moral code and principles, guiding his actions with integrity and honesty.
WEAKNESSES
Unexperienced: Although supported by a dedicated crew of loyal professionals, it's undeniable that Ailmar finds himself navigating unfamiliar territory. As a wide-eyed freedom fighter and the son of a prominent figure in the deep core, he grapples with the weight of expectations while striving to reconcile his own desires with the demands of his position. Ailmar's idealism may blind him to the practical realities of the galaxy, causing him to pursue unrealistic or impractical solutions
Impulsive: Ailmar's passionate commitment to his ideals may sometimes lead him to act impulsively without fully considering the potential consequences, resulting in hasty or ill-advised decisions. His idealism may cloud his judgment, causing him to overlook practical considerations or potential risks in pursuit of his lofty goals.
HISTORY
Alimar Dawnstone entered the galaxy with a safety net and a silver spoon, luxuries not afforded to many. Raised among the Coruscant elite, Alimar was the fifth child in the esteemed Dawnstone household— a name worth it's weight in gold within the corridors of mega-corporations across the deep rim. Despite his privileged upbringing, Alimar encountered challenges beyond the typical dramas of corporate families. His struggles were of his own creation and desire, rooted in his determination to break free from the confines of his affluent background and carve out his own destiny, rather than relying on inherited wealth and status. Born with an innate thirst for exploration and a passion for uncovering forgotten history of the galxay, Ailmar forsook the path set before him. He dedicated himself to the study of history and archaeology during his education, but his academic journey was abruptly interrupted when he decided to abandon higher education. Instead, he joined his fathers company and took command of a small merchant fleet of the Dawnstone vessels bound for the outer rim, seeking firsthand field experience that he believed would be more valuable than anything learned within the confines of a classroom— While also putting credits in his pocket.
It didn't take long for Ailmar to grasp the extent of the humanitarian crises plaguing the galaxy, forcing him to take a stand against it. While he remained dedicated to his craft, wishing to understand the galxay for what it had to offer, he also began laying the groundwork for his own splinter company. This new venture would afford him the opportunity to exert direct influence and champion the cause of the oppressed. After gathering those loyal to him and the cause of a freedom fighter, he approached his father with the best deal he form, and after intense negations agreed to terms that would form the Antares Exploration. This kept the Alliance off their backs and served as a front to enter most star systems without being flagged as a pirate, but also kept Dawnstone Logistics out of any legal troubles Ailmar may have gotten into.
