- Extreme Blaster Resistance - With the natural resistance of shell spider silk and phrik combined with the fibers being infused with "inactive" dampener aerosal, blaster effectiveness is drastically reduced into little more than kinetic "pokes".
- Extreme Vibroblade/Kinetic Resistance - As with the natural properties of the shell spider silk, combined with phrik fibers, vibroblades will find themselves ineffective against the fabric, particularly if the SAS attachment is counteracting their vibrational qualities. Additionally, the phrik armor weave will not easily break to projectile impacts from kinetic weapons, though it may not be fully protective of the wearer. However, should the molecular field be activated (not at the same time as the field disruptor), at the expense of improved lightsaber resistance the user will be well protected from all slugthrower weaponry and shrapnel effects.
- Extreme Lightsaber Resistance - With the phrik armorweave, most lightsabers will find it difficult to cut through the fabric. When the necklace activates its disruptor field, however, any standard lightsaber that attempts to pass through the wearer will have its containment field spontaneously fail, leaking its plasma contents onto the fabric, which neutralizes it harmlessly. In practice, the effect is very similar to cortosis, although it is not a perfect analogue. Most lightsabers will be able to activate fairly soon afterwards, though potentially at reduced power due to loss of plasma energy.
- Effective Sonic Protection - With the addition of a RAW SAS Attachment utilizing the phrik armorweave as a medium, this suit becomes highly resistant to sonic weaponry of many different varieties by vibrating the fibers at specific frequencies that cancel out dangerous sonic or "shock" waves. Given that the medium is more fiber-like, the attachment has to work extra hard to produce the same results, meaning it isn't quite as powerful as it can be, but still provides effective results.
- Effective ION/EMP/Electrical Protection - With the introduction of DION fibers, most ionic or electrical disturbances that would ordinarily disable any technology components attached to the armor are effectively counteracted.
- Lack of Environmental Protection - The Retirement Suit was intended as casual wear with maximum combat protection from as many avenues of attack as possible. It was never the intention of the designer to protect from any environmental factors such as: extreme heat, extreme cold, extreme gravity, atmospheric acidity, lack of atmosphere, massive fire, etc.
- Lack of "Exotic" Protection - Any avenue of attack that includes the use of particular kinds of acids, or biological attack, such as metal eating bacteria or similar such exotic uses of "technology" is not covered by this suit. This suit was designed specifically to defend against all of the more combat orientated avenues of attack that are expected to be seen. No one can fully protect themselves from the use of cleverly implemented chemical or pathological warfare. So rather than attempt to, she designed the suit for everything else, given their more prevalent use.
Triam isn't a mercenary any more. Or a bounty hunter. Or a treasure hunter. She's a mother and a businesswoman who happens to sell uniquely powerful arms and armors, with the occasional droid or cybenertic modification. So while she isn't on the front lines any more, and not needing an intimidating set of armor, she still requires adequate protection while looking presentable.
To that end, she improved on her initial designs of her Prototype "Impregnable" Class Attire (which she used as protection during her pregnancy, and now uses to protect her son without a full suit of armor), and included the use of armorweaving, DION fibers acquired at auction, and her own SAS Attachment to provide herself with the full range of protection from anything she would be expected to face while dealing with the arms trade on the streets or in the criminal underbelly.
