Infact, outside of official holidays or stately events, it would be hard to tell if the man was the king of his planet by his dress alone. His demeanor and attitude bares a determined air of determination, chivalry, and honor. He seems often caught in deep thought, standing alone with his furrowed brows, contemplating something.

The King, for all his attempts to remain humble as the Code of Thieubal dictates, cannot shake his headstrong ways. Whether the battle is being lost or won, Alainn will throw himself into the thick of it. And 'retreat' is the foulest of curse words to the Jedi.

This is how the Order always did it, and that's how it should be! Alainn holds to the traditions of the old Order such as not using blasters or marrying. Not only that, but he will critique his Jedi allies for violating these traditions.
BIOGRAPHY

Alainn was born to King Ricard "the Merry" and Queen Vicenza, a royal couple admired by the entire kingdom. He was an only child, legend has it that a hermit Master Jedi visited the royal palace and foretold of the supposedly infertile couple's future child. Alainn was born healthy, and the kingdom rejoiced for the continuation of the royal bloodline. Growing up, Alainn could be described as an adventurous, brave, and brooding child. He wanted to sword fight, play war, and run through the vast garden with his cousins and friends.
He was discovered to have a powerful connection to the force at a young age, when he learned how to pull objects to him with the Force. This greatly upset his mother, who intentionally began to shield him from the legends of their culture and specifically of his great uncle, the king before his father. His great uncle was King Jeannes "the Grandmaster," a valiant Jedi Knight who ascended to the rank of Master in the Order of Thieubal and averted a Sith plot against the kingdom, striking him down in battle in the very palace itself. The royal family left the marks of the lightsabers in the stone and marble walls remain unrepaired for the glory and history of the battle.
Alainn, ofcourse, learned of his Great Uncle and the legends of the Jedi Knights and various heroic nobles that dotted Valandieuon history. This, combined with his innate abilities in the Force, led him down an inevitable path to desire to become a Jedi Knight. His family was visited again by a Jedi Master hermit, who was requested by the king to advise his son on the matter of becoming a Jedi. After an hour long conversation, the old sage departed, and the preteen Alainn began to prepare physically, mentally, and spiritually for the harrowing task of becoming a Jedi of the Order of Thieubal.
At 13, he set out alone, as is tradition, to the Quenollion Mountain in the massive, beautiful, and dangerous Fathers' Mountains Range. The youth harrowed through the cold of the sparsely inhabited mountains, feeling the Force call him in a specific direction. At times, the winds would blow and block out the sun, the snow would fall particularly harsh, and he would have to take shelter. Many times Alainn wanted to return, but he resolved in his heart it would be better to freeze to death than to return to his father and mother a failure. He eventually found the hidden Jedi Temple at the top of the legendary Quenollion Mountain, and collapsed from exhaustion.
The young boy became a Padawan under Master Teun Baranka, a Mon Calamari. The aquatic teacher instructed Padawan Alainn for the next 7 years of his life, until he was made a Knight of the Order of Thieubal. In that time span the boy underwent many struggles and hardships, but took courage and inspiration from his friends and instructors, forming a strong bond with many in the Order as a result. Eventually the boy was Knighted, and was ordered by the Council to return to his parents and assume control of the Kingdom when his father died. The Knight was greatly disturbed by this and petitioned the Council to consider his desire to remain here in the Temple, but they denied him and sent him home.
Prince-Knight Alainn returned to the royal palace, meeting his parents for the first time in 7 years, and they all marveled at how much all of them had changed, and rejoiced in each others company. Alainn informed his father of the Council's intention for Alainn to remain the inheritor of the crown, to which his father responded even more joyously. The king immediately started to have the Prince indoctrinated in the ways of ruling, having to "catch up" on 7 years worth of education. Over the next few years, Alainn frequently went on missions with the Order, but returned to his own separate, luxury-barren quarters in the palace. It wasn't until he was 25 that his father took very ill and was no longer able to run the kingdom effectively.
Fearing he would weaken the nation, he abdicated the throne to Alainn and crowned him as king. With a great festival and with a heavy heart, Alainn accepted the crown from his weakened father. For the next 8 years, Alainn ruled with fairness, humility, and honor. The king was a true Valandieuon, but he was a Jedi first, and the people respected and loved him for it. Being celibate and no longer able to carry on the royal bloodline, he allows his childhood friend and his successor, his cousin, to rule in his stead while he is gone on missions for the Order. Thankfully, due to Alainn not appearing before the people more than necessary so as to not allow vanity to develop within him, it is not noticed when he is off on another Jedi mission.
Alainn continues to rule the Kingdom and serve the forces of good to this day, building a reputation for himself as a respected ruler, an honorable warrior, and a true Jedi.
