Alchemical Swords?

I want a ceremonial sword. And I want it Uber.

Naturally my mind flows to an alchemical blade so sexy that Exar Kun would be like: "You go girl" ...But, I'm not sure. Anybody out there know any really good options or alternatives? I mean. I'm not going to create an entire Campaign of Dev Threads just to make one piece of shiny metal. If you know what I mean.

Uh, Jon ([member="Rave Merrill"] specifically) has been making some bad ass swords. Damien is working on a remake of an ancient one. I guess it depends on what you want. Basic alchemy is pretty common on the site now, while more specialized people still lurk.

Uh, songsteel works out pretty cool. Also, there are swords already crafted in the market place. Or, you could always steal a pic off google and give it a cannon sword type (ie my sword is a echani blade, that looks like this)

Also, I have a slightly darker looking Dagger, that can be purchased with sword specifications (length, and design if it doesnt match your liking). Dont have a marketplace booth though, so itd have to be a good old fashioned rp purchase.

After a quick look through I decided that simply building a new lightsaber will easily fulfill all my desires and still be a superior Force item. Thanks guys! Case closed.

Something that I have been looking up is Obsidian. In right ammounts of an alloy, and maybe a touch up with the force, it can be lightsaber resistant and it will have a black look. Kind of hard to avoid that. But Obsidian would be a good use since I have never seen a sword made like that in the past. I am actually wanting to create a sword like this, so if you want to go that way, PM me and maybe we can both come up with something. Even just a thread to look for obsidian or just meeting together, (whatever character you are making the sword for.)

There's all sorts of good things you could do to make your lightsaber stand out from the typical "metal tube that shoots a stick made of plasma".

Eg: Mustafarian obsidian hilt with lava crystal- Mustafar lightsaber
Tatooine glass hilt with krayt dragon pearl- Tatooine lightsaber
A hilt made of ice with a permafrost crystal, which woudl keep the ice solid even in high temperatures- Hoth lightsaber
A hilt made of bone with an eyeball to substitute the crystal (would actually work, almost anything coudl subsititue al ightsaber crystal)- Lightsaber made from pieces of your enemies.

Ignore me if you already have an idea, just throwing things out there.
