[SIZE=9pt]Alessandra is a beautiful woman in her late twenties. With fair skin and long, blonde hair, the most striking thing about her is the eye-patch covering the spot where her left eye used to be. It bears the sigil of her house painting in red, upon its black. It fits in place perfectly and is tied together by any strings. In this day and age, and with her resources, her left eye could easily have been replaced by a cybernetic one. Every now and then she still considers it to this day, but even if she did she would keep the eye-patch for most situations. It helps build a both powerful and memorable presentation of herself, and she has built up an image of ruthless efficiency. In a strange sense, it has become a part of her identity.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=9pt]Back in the old One Sith days she would have been seen in uniform on almost all occasions. These days, however, with the liberties granted her through her new position, her wardrobe is somewhat more free. She likes to convey power and authority, and dressed accordingly. To display the power of both her family and her company, the clothes will usually be of the kind associated with the wealthier classes. Perception is all, and just like she is in control of most other things, she wishes to be in control of how others perceive her.[/SIZE]

In a battle the Sith suffered mortal wounds and died. Before anyone could think to notice, and really before she could think it all through, Alessandra nicked the ring off the other woman’s cold fingers. It is a golden ring with a flawless, deep ruby stone. She considers it her lucky amulet, perhaps even possession some supernatural powers. In fact it is no dark artefact, but actually just a normal ring that this particular Sith fancied. She doesn’t wear it on her finger, but would have it in her desk or in her pocket.i[/SIZE]

[SIZE=9pt]There are many words to describe Alessandra. Most notably, however, is a passive trait one might not recognise at first but something which has helped her rise to her current position. Not only that, but retain it. Born into a rich family she has grown used to managing large amounts of wealth. She is not frivolous with money, but rather leans towards being greedy. She understands it. How to make it, how to lose it. It is for this reason she stood out as an ideal candidate to be Pyrrhus’ agent placed within the Karazak Slavers Cooperative, to ensure business moved along smoothly.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=9pt]Inherently envious, if she sees someone else’s shiny, she will desire to acquire it for herself. While she’s not known to waste money, she is however prone to a decadent lifestyle, and enjoys surrounding herself with the finer things. You wouldn’t call her an alcoholic to her face, and it wouldn’t be entirely accurate, but a bottle never seems to be too far away. If she has one financial vice, it is this.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=9pt]Alessandra is not above using lies and tricks to fool foe and ally alike to accomplish her goals. When she first sets her mind to something, she will pursue that course of action with all she’s got. She is a stubborn woman, not known to back down lightly. When it comes to discipline and punishment, she can easily be described as unnecessarily cruel. This should not come as a surprise, considering her prominent position in a company that makes all of its profits on slavery. Being aware of her own capacity for cruelty and deceit, she seems to always expect the worst of other people. [/SIZE]
[SIZE=9pt]Standing as her strongest virtue is her diligence. She is a dedicated and hard worker, with the know-how and cold shrewdness to get the job done in such a manner that it would satisfy a Sith Lord.[/SIZE]

If directly put under threat, and if possible, she would remain in the background and try to gain control of the situation or plot and escape route, whichever solution is preferable in the moment. That being said, she is a former Sith naval officer and in great shape. She is trained in martial arts and handling a blaster pistol. These are tools available to her which she will put on display only when cornered.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=13.5pt]HISTORICAL INFORMATION[/SIZE]
[SIZE=9pt]Alessandra de Contessa was born into the household of Giovanni and Camilla de Contessa. She was their second child, having one older brother and no younger siblings. However, the little twist that all but guaranteed a strained relationship with her ‘mother’, was that the only one of her parents she shared a blood relation to was her father. She was the bastard child of Giovanni, but this was kept a most secret affair. She was legitimized officially behind closed doors, should the paperwork ever be required for legal reasons, but all of it safely kept locked down at their estate. She never knew her mother, and was never told much about her other than that she had been a particularly easy-on-the-eye servant girl. It should come as no surprise that Camilla made sure she was sent away, but the child Giovanni insisted on keeping. While Alessandra have always suspected it did not go down quite as peacefully as simply sending her biological mother away, she has never discovered anything to the contrary, or anything at all for that matter.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=9pt]The Contessas were a known and respected family on Derelium. The own a large estate and have a finger in many of the planet’s vineyards. Their wine is famed galaxy-wide, or so they make sure to tell anyone who cares to listen. Alessandra grew up in the shadow of her older brother who was always meant to inherit all the family’s wealth and power. However, due to a few missteps handling family business combined with an escalating hostility between father and son, he was disinherited. This left Alessandra’s parents with little choice but to reluctantly name her the heir, even though her father would have preferred a male heir and her mother literally anyone but her. Alessandra repaid her family by accepting her position, but managing family affairs from off-world. She left Derellium, and left the estate in the hands of relatives, who along with servants and informants would keep her informant on matters of import. Upon her father’s death she assumed full control, albeit still from a safe distance.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=9pt]Alessandra’s path led her to pursue a military career, and she served with distinction in the One Sith navy. Her family’s name had her already start out at a rank deemed agreeable to her noble blood, but she since proved that she needed no special treatment as she rose through the ranks on her own merits. Before the empire came collapsing down, she was a competent admiral in what the One Sith designated as ‘Sector Five’. This was how she ended up on the radar of the man in charge of Sector Five, Darth Pyrrhus.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=9pt]Like many others she remained loyal to him even after the collapse of the empire. Shifting focus from one empire to the other, Alessandra was soon reassigned to serve as head of the Karazak Slavers Cooperative, handling matters in Darth Pyrrhus’ stead. She was brought up as an agent with unknown background to the rest. Pyrrhus desired to have someone on the council other than himself who he knew in and out and who had proven their loyalty in the past. Her role was re-purposed, and she took the step from military leader to administrator. Aside from her loyalty, a little research confirmed that she had handled her own family business competently, and could be expected to do so in the KSC as well. Not that he had a giant pool of individuals to choose from.[/SIZE]
