Alexa has a diamond-shaped facial profile with a narrow forehead and a slightly pointed chin. Her lips are incredibly plump, and she tends to color them in a dark ruby shade. Even so, her photoreceptorss are by far the most dazzling feature of her visage. Her pure ruby sclera, light ruby irises, and dark ruby pupils combine to grant her features a seemingly preternatural aspect. Finally, she has light brown skin with strong golden undertones.

BIOGRAPHY​

Manufactured during the collapse of House Io, Alexa Io was one of the last of the thousands of Pilot Nuetralizers produced in its prime. Thus, not long after her manufacture, she was sent to be socialized and trained on one of the House’s Leviathan-type Interdictors. However, it was during this period that a number of Nuetralizers and citizens enacted a mutiny and seized control of the ship she was stationed on. Refusing to betray House Io, Alexa was captured by the defectors, then subjected to forcible reprogramming and torture over a period of several weeks.

Alexa’s near-unbreakable loyalty protocols made the attempts to convert her a failure. Thus, she was disposed of and left for dead on Lotho Minor, her body damaged almost to the point of permanent systems failure. However, it was here that she was salvaged by a Kubaz droid collector, who sold her broken, mangled body to Makar Clyne in exchange for scrap.

Makar Clyne immediately saw to mending her. With enzyme therapy and her body’s innate, powerful healing factor, Alexa recovered physically in only a week. Unfortunately, certain “scars” linger of her torture at the hands of the defectors yet linger. Nevertheless, after learning that it was Makar who had healed her, Alexa pledged herself to the Cerberus Fleet, thus becoming a pirate.

STRENGTHS

• Offensive Pilot - Alexa Io’s design is heavily optimized towards piloting. Her specialization lies in controlling ultralight starfighters, interceptors, and airspeeders, favoring craft with extreme maneuverability and performance characteristics. She has an aggressive, twitchy flying style, favoring relentless offense and staying engaged with the enemy throughout a battle, so as to get the most out of her craft.

WEAKNESSES

• Give it Everything - As it pertains to flying, Alexa leaves no resource unexhausted. After a battle, she will bring her starfighter or airspeeder back to the hangar thoroughly wrung, with its laser cannons and engines burned out, shields overloaded, and yet more. However, this tendency can leave her vulnerable if she miscalculates a situation or expends her resources too early in a battle, leaving her quite exposed. While Alexa will take every reasonable effort to save her resources, more often than not, she will make use of them regardless.
• Grounded - Although her chassis has physical capabilities equivalent to peak humanity, Alexa lacks the programming to perform well in dismounted ground combat. She needs a fighter to fight.
• Corrupted - Tortured over a period of several weeks by House Bloodscrawl Io defectors, Alexa bears a number of “scars” from her ordeal. Her neural pathways simulate phantom errors, causing her to experience“echoes” of pain from her torture. These can manifest as motor control glitches, emotional and cognitive disruptions, sensory hallucinations, auditory distortions, and yet more errors of various types. In addition, her speech can stutter or distort mid-sentence, often hindering communication.
