- A special set of gemstones, blessed by the Ashlan Crusade from special minerals found on Cadomai Prime. They have the ability to bring back the deceased into the living world for a short period of time, twelve hours, once every month. After use, it must await a recharge of a whole month before being used once again.
- The gemstones are naturally Light Side aligned, untouched by the dark corruption of Bogan AKA the Dark Side.
- Once the Twelve Hours are up, Killed, or Drained, the person fades back to Netherworld.
- The Ability to Bring the Dead Alive Again: Upon use of the charmed gemstone, a portal from the Netherworld will open and allow the deceased individual that is Force Sensitive, to return to the living for a full twelve hours with a physical body. Yes, this comes with Clothing.
- Revive the Light: It is made to revive those of the Light Side of the Force.
- Corruption of the Darkness: It is also made for those who can corrupt it into Bogans will, making it used also for Dark Side Revivals.
- Force Nullification Resistance: The person brought back can resist the use of Force Nullification against them, but only for a short period of time and their use of the Force is still negated by whatever source is used against them.
- The Number You Have Dialed Is No Longer Existing: Sometimes, the use does not work as intended. If the Force Sensitive in question does not wish to come, then it will not work. This also includes calling upon an individual as if it is Force Nullified, no one can answer the call.
- No Control, Oh No: Bringing someone back does not mean the user has control over the individual, as such, it has free will and can never be controlled. Mind Controlling methods while using this gemstone, will not work also.
- Using the Force, Accelerates Your Return: Using the Force reduces the time the person has to be alive. The stronger the Force Power, the quicker the person is to return back to the Netherworld.
- A Bridge, it is Not to Be Whole: This Gemstone cannot help the person become fully alive again, meaning rituals or other powers to prolong their stay will fail. That includes using more Alfreds.
- Force Nullification Drain: It drastically reduces the persons time by several minutes every second, within two minutes, the person will cease to be and return to the Netherworld.
- Lightsaber Use Denied: Attempting to slot this into a lightsaber, will cause it to explode. It does not work, do not try it.
- There is No Stopping the Clock: There is never a way to increase the time on the clock, no amount of Force Energy applied to a person will prolong their stay. Once it is time to go, they simply fade as if they become one with the Force.
- Got to Wait that Month: Once revived, they have to wait for the gemstone to recharge and the individual brought back will have fatigue in the Netherworld for the same period. It cannot be used back to back as it simply will not work.
- That Still Hurts: Being injured still occurs as normal, only that fatal wounds that would decapitate or kill said person, would bring them instantly back to the Netherworld.
Description
The creation of the Alfred Muscovite is considered to many in the Ashlan Crusade as a divine miracle. While mining on the planet of Cadomai Prime for Muscovite, a set of miners along with a padawan suffered a cave in and were trapped deep underground. They prayed for two days and nights till one of the workers prayed upon one of the gemstones as an offering. Before them came a bright light, revealed to be an ancient Jedi Master whom came to their rescue from a time long forgotten. With his powers in the Force, he held up the debris and the mine shaft for the miners and the padawan to escape. Only when joining back with them an hour later, did the Jedi Master started to feel weak and collapsed, fading back to the Netherworld.
The padawan reported this back to the Priests of Ashla and the entire mining site was considered a sacred ground. A Church was built over the location, the name of which was still of debate for which Saint to portray. The location underneath the church is considered closely guarded by the Holy Ashlan Papacy, being monitored to prevent intruders from reaching to deep into the catacombs to acquire such gemstones. Their mining was also heavily regulated to allow natural growth, only allowing those who require them to obtain them as they were of extremely limited supply.
The Gemstones are in fact, Muscovite, but on studies revealed themselves to be mined extremely close to a Force Nexus that was considered extremely peaceful, an underground lake that had the purest of intentions for wildlife. Illuminated Fish lived undisturbed with large bushes surrounding it that seemed to defy their existence in such a dark cave. Sampling the water would taste as if it was the purest water anyone had ever drank, the fish itself, seemed to be those of peace. The walls that were mined around it, were of the stone nicknamed "Alfred" for its supposed Jedi Master name given from the miners. Alfred Muscovites gave the user the ability to call for help among the deceased, recent or very long ago. Whether the person showed up or not, was up for debate.
Priests of Ashla have attempted to use them to communicate with the other side with mixed results, one of which was a tainted sample used from a Priest with ill intentions. Without realizing he had no control, the Sith that was brought forth slaughtered him and other priests before it was managed to be sent back to the Netherworld through combat means. After that incident, its gemstone use was heavily restricted and only those of the Papacy was allowed to use the stones and those it gave permission towards.
