Aliit'Drahr
Name: Aliit'Drahr of Clan Vereen
Intent: Create a sect of Warriors for Clan Vereen
Affiliation: Draco Vereen
Availability: Uncommon
Quality: B- Veteran
Type: Jump Infantry, Heavy Cavalry, Special Operations
Strength: 32 per Unit
Fire Teams (8)
  • Akaan'Drahr
  • Aliit'Drahr (3)
Description:
Clan Vereen, being relatively small in number and only partially established is built around the shadow of ArmaTech Combat Systems. While Draco maintains the position of CEO of the Company and Aliit'Buir of the Clan, there is a level of separation between the two. One identifies as a company with ties to several governments for profit, with a Preference for Mandalore while the other is Mandalorian in its entirety.

Clan Vereen maintains only a small military, populating old Death Watch haunts on Concordia around the Scar and the Clan Hall. While much smaller and much less prevalent than ArmaTech Security the Verd of Aliit Vereen are a common sight on the battlefield. Where in the past Draco had relied on mercenaries and hired security, now, having fully adopted his position within the Mandalorian Clans, he has built the small sect of warriors into a fearsome military.

Building upon Mandalorian warrior culture, Draco has included a vicious training regimen taking place in the mountains and forests of Concordia around the Scar. Warriors are dumped with only a stun blaster and a knife out in the wilderness and left to survive for a fortnight, often competing against each other or challenging each other. In addition they go through vigorous sleep deprivation and combat training upon approaching the Clan. They spend the fast majority of their time in full gear, carrying it with them everywhere and are almost never seen without their armor and weapons. They are trained in using Bes'uliiks for atmospheric drops, jump packs for paratrooping, and battlefield mobility. They are excellent storm troopers, being more than capable of busting down doors and clearing buildings, and operate as special forces in that they are capable of behind enemy lines operations though not quietly. They have extensive close quarters combat training and experience, capable of many forms of hand to hand combat and excel in city based fighting. Fire Fights are where these warriors truly shine, and those unfortunate to find themselves fighting in tight spaces will discover the beskar clad warriors are more than capable of fighting outnumbering enemy forces without fear.

In the end they are devastating shock troops, being equipped and trained to compete as air cavalry, heavy cavalry, special forces, shock infantry, or Paratroopers. Protection is not their goal nor their mandate. They are bred, raised, and built for the sole purpose of destroying the enemies of Mandalore in the name of Aliit Vereen. They are considered a step up from the rest of the Clans' standard warriors in their eyes, though this is up for debate among other warriors.

In battle they are loosely organized into small teams of four commandos operating largely independently of each other though they can group up, depending on the size of the battle. Each team is lead by a senior warrior, the Akaan'Drahr, and the most senior warrior in the unit is considered the leader of the unit, though his leadership is mostly in just setting battlefield goals for the warriors and letting their experience and instincts take over for handling the details.

Strengths:
  • Multirole: The Aliit'Drahr can be used to fulfill just about any battlefield role they are called upon to take
  • Zealous: The Aliit'Drahr are zealous, often refusing to yield ground and advancing on their opposition rapidly. This ensures they will hold the line to the last man and will not falter their charge against an oppressive gun line.
Weaknesses:
  • Loose Organization: Due to the loose organization of the units, battlefield coordination can be a problem in large theaters.
  • Zealous: The Aliit'Drahr are zealous, often refusing to yield ground and advancing on their opposition rapidly. This can cause them to rush headlong into obstacles that might otherwise have been dealt with differently, such as entrenched soldiers being fired upon with artillery.

Overall, this looks good to me, with most things being in order. There are just two things I would like to address before we move on and get this approved!

As this is a well-trained and very well equipped unit, could you include a list of strengths and weaknesses?

Similar to the way you did it with “Attached Weapons”, could you put in parentheses how many each warrior gets, or how many of these droids would be available to one unit?

Thanks.

For the Probe Droids that is covered in the Factory Submission, but I edited the sub to roughly include that info. Each warrior can have a single node and each node is good for 4 Probes (MK2 Probes=2)

Updated with a few Strengths and Weaknesses.

Great. As mentioned, they are a well-trained and very well-equipped unit, so please keep in mind to use them responsibly.

Approved, pending secondary.
