The Fontaine Mansion on Alderaan sat alone as the night began to grow dark and cold. A storm was brewing close and everyone of the Fontaine family members were bunking down for the night. They knew the storm would be heavy, given the weather reports on the holonews, but they knew they had enough to last and plenty of back-up power should theirs fail later on. For now everyone was just trying to relax after what seemed like a busy day.
Rupert Fontaine sat with his wife downstairs in the living room, sitting together on the couch and watching the holonews before deciding to switch to something on one of the movie channels. One of the older classics they knew as children played, making them cuddle up closer to enjoy together. Meanwhile, upstairs, Angelica, their daughter, was busying herself by playing with their maid/ adopted family member/maid, Yura. While Yura was dressed in her usual maid attire Angelica was already in pajama pants and shirt.
Yura, just finishing folding something in her hand, declared "Ta-Da!" before showing Angelica an origami Bantha. "See? You can even make the legs move." She pulled on the paper bantha's tail, which made the legs shift back and forth. "Neat, huh?"
Angelica, sitting upside down on the bed, gave an unenthusiastic "I guess..." which of course caught Yura's attention.
"What's wrong now, Angelica?" Yura asked. "You've been less than your usual self."
She sighed before answering "I wanted to play out at night tonight. Now with the rain coming there's nothing to do but sit inside."
"Aww." Yura reached over and rubbed her head. "Don't think like that. Try to find something fun to do while inside. We always do that, don't we?" Angelica still didn't seem convinced before Yura said "Come on. Cheer up. What do you want to do? Board game? A movie?"
Angelica scratched her head before suggesting "Hide and seek?"
Yura, hearing that, actually seemed reluctant before saying "Oh...you want to play that?" Angelica asked coyly why she seemed worried, making Yura answer "Because last time you kpet jumping out and surprising me instead of hiding. And then there was that time you and your friends surprised me too. You know I don't like getting scared."
"Oh come on, Yura. I won't do it this time. I promise, I'll just hide and wait like I should."
Yura, seeing the innocent-like face on Angelica agreed with a nod. Of course Angelica had her fingers crossed behind her back before telling Yura to count while she ran out and hid. Yura, seeming the more childish type, covered her eyes and counted. The whole time she did she kept peeking around to make sure Angelica wasn't just hiding in front of her or trying to scare her again. She'd be sure to find her fairly this time.
