March 3rd, 2014 a day that will live in infamy….

The Sith Empire has been apart of this board since the very beginning and was the place I first started RPing when I came to SWRP Choas. Since its time as a small blob of red planets, the Empire has grown into a force to be reckoned with and is home to hundreds of great characters. But, as they say, all great things must come to end. I am both very proud and very troubled by the fact that I will be the last Sith Emperor of the Empire. I look back to all those who came before me and I appreciate the great stories they have made and the work that they all put into this faction.

I remember the days of Mordin, parts of Ashin’s, Vs, Tyrins, Lussks and Kaine’s and it humbles me that they could all take the hit and walk away from this great faction. They know the true importance of fun and story and they have my respect as writers and fellow RPers. Even so, I feel as if I now have to take the biggest hit out of all of my predecessors as I must now announce the disbanding of the Sith Empire. I will be the shortest lived Emperor as well as the last and I’m proud to say that I get to be the one who has the honor of laying this collection of great storytelling down to rest.

The Empire will be officially disbanded (ICly) in a day or so, after the final showdown of Krag and Mikahil Shorn. After Krag’s defeat at the hands of the Thronebreaker, the rebellions around Sith Space will erupt beyond control and in the absence of a worthy successor the Empire will fall into ruin. Rebels will cut off system to system communications and the hierarchy of the government will turn into nothing more than warlords trying to grab what power they can.

This is not a merger and with the disbanding of the Empire that means that the Fel, Mandos and Republicans will have to dominion planets in order to conquer what was Sith Space. Thank you to all the great Sith writers, past Emperors and everyone else who is working to make the downfall of the Sith an epic story that shall not be forgotten.

So, by the powers infested in me as the Sith’s 7 day Emperor, I hereby instate the official OOC disbanding of the Sith Empire by popular vote of the Sith memberbase.

Move out of the way Thronebreaker, I’m the Empirebreaker – Peace!

The French have new rivals for the capitulation awards.

Farewell Romulus Augustulus, you shall go down in history alongside other great names like Aethelred, Darius III and Alexius Angelus.

RIP the Sith Empire, the almost antagonist of SWRP.

I for one welcome our Jedi Jihadist overlords.

Well, Krag will be starting a Graug Empire soon that all former members of the Sith and any Graug characters are welcome to join. It will be minor at first but that will be the continuation of his story as he helps the One Sith.

indeed....

What if I wished to have my character start the Rule of Two, or at least attempt it. The One Sith idea is cool, but I think after the disbanding of the Empire the Sith should be essentially extinct to the public. Sort've fade into the shadows, you know, Palpatine/Bane-esque storyline.

Anyone that wants to come, are welcome to. We'll figure out how to work them in, even if previously the two factions were at odds. Least I can do for the characters.

Also Kaine, the butt hurt gets old. Get some Preparation H and get over it, we're all here to have fun.

TGE does not hate force-users. Otherwise it would be a tad nonsensical for them to offer Sio a noble title. Well, I imagine they did that for PR, but nonetheless! Ideologically it distrusts forcers and wants them placed under government control and supervision, instead of having a Jedi or Sith theocracy. The Inquisition, which exists to police them (and whose Grand Inquisitor is the second most important person in the power structure), is secret, officially it's 'force registration'.
