DESCRIPTION
While producing tracked vehicles for the use in the Imperial Guard Corps as well as for export to various imperial remnants, the Olympian Armoursmiths Forgemasters set their sights on developing a new generation of heavy combat walkers with the past successes of the All Terrain Tactical Enforcer, the All Terrain Armoured Transport and the All Terrain MegaCaliber Six on their minds.
The AT-AR was second walker introduced and would be a lot more popular among the ground forces. It was constructed a lot tougher and heavier in exchange for a better armament and armour but also a higher speed. This came at the price of added weight and even less room for amenities and cargo, making the walker entirely dependent on a supply train.
But the abandonment of a shoulder mounted turret paid off and the walker performed much better than the AT-AFS in handling and stability, though with less flexibility in direction of shooting and all guns mounted front-facing, it had a more straight forward approach. A successful design offering much needed mobile offensive power in an extremely formidable chassis.
