Because I demand snowball fights, I have condemned [member="Joshua Vantai"] to an icy death decided that I should take my new padawan to Ilum to go snipe hunting to obtain his lightsaber crystal.

This may or may not also spin off into constructing a lightsaber, depending on if Sor-Jan freezes to death while making snow angels.

Is there anyone else who needs to gather their lightsaber crystal and/or seeks to scientifically apply telekinetic theory to the notion of snowball carpet bombing?

On point for any who might be unfamiliar with the source material for this Jedi tradition:

• The Gathering
• Ilum
• Jedi Temple (Ilum)
• Crystal Caves

If you have access to it, I'd recommend watching the Clone Wars, Season 5 episode "The Gathering" for some inspiration. Not the strongest episode writing wise, some good and bad voice actor selection, and Zak Dymo's faceclaim and inspiration, Zatt. Does it get any better than that?

Additionally, are there any knights/masters and/or NFUs that would like to tag along? [member="Tyl Ro"], ol buddy, you with me?

More than happy to serve as chaperone if enough interest from other younglings and Padawans, even Knights and Masters, is garnered. I think Tyl is at least slightly more... qualified to... keep the young ones on track than her crystallized-water-throwing counterpart.

I've been meaning to actually construct my own lightsaber instead of using my old master's, but I've never gotten around to doing any of the proper work. Besides, it sounds like a good adventure and some proper fun as well.

For any padawans (or knights) wishing to submit a lightsaber to the Factory, this can serve as a Dev Thread for how you got your crystal. Probably not required, but the point is the roleplay and having fun.

I'll get a post up to get us started, but more people are still welcome to join in if they like.
