LFG Allies, Rivals etc to help a family come together

Liam's talent in the Force has been passed down father to son for generations since the days of the Old Republic's war with the resurgent Sith Empire.
Liam's father Naren Cors Naren Cors used his talents as an outlaw to make credits and scan women. Naren convinced Liam that his mother had abandoned him when he was five. While present during a Sith ritual on Thule, Liam started to receive visions of why his mother was really not in his life.

After the ritual Liam spent a short time in the presence of the NJO, but the visions of what his father had done to him continued to haunt his dreams and he left to right the wrongs of his life. Liam has two missions. To find his mother and to confront his father. As there is a tendril of the Dark Side lurking in his consciousness from the ritual, Liam has prioritized his father. He will need help to track down his father. With the influence of the Dark Side someone to guide him in to keep him from falling, or help in his redemption should said fall prove inevitable.

In parallel Liam's half-sister Kalira Aldan Kalira Aldan is looking for him. As she is a sheltered young lady she will need help to navigate the galaxy. She is also being followed by her other half-sibling Blazinda Aldan Blazinda Aldan who is trying to catch up to her rebellious sister.

Lots of opportunities to join this family drama. Let me and/or A Phoenix A Phoenix know if you are interested in helping this move forward.

I don't believe we've written before. Wanna thread with a Jedi?

We have been in a couple of the same threads, but never truly interacted. I would love for Liam to come into contact with Valery at some point in the story. If Liam does end up needing to be redeemed I could see Val being a valuable part of that arc. The last I wrote Liam he was with some Jedi, so she might also sense the darkness creeping into his motivations and try to guide the beginning of his journey.

I will reach out soon.

That all sounds great to me! :D Would be a fun part for Val to play

Kalira Aldan Kalira Aldan and Blazinda Aldan Blazinda Aldan will also need allies. Kalira is currently aimlessly traveling the galaxy looking for signs of her brother she has never met. She stowed away from home (Garos IV maybe, was chosen before the Sith assaulted). Lucky encounters with smugglers and Jedi might help move things along. She is also an untrained Force User so Jedi contact could be used to start her gaining knowledge of her gifts.

Blazinda is on Kalira's trail so honorable smugglers and/or Bounty Hunters would be welcomed companions in her part of the story.

I could probably provide parts either of dark influence or aid. Sort of. Roxsie is probably not a great influence light sided wise but she's also attached to her own family even if physically very far apart, which could drift in either direction as far as effects go. She is a mercenary though, and likely avoids jobs that last indefinitely. She could help one or the other try and find someone, she does have a ship, and at least some skill at trying to track people. (No specialist) so there's a lot of wiggle room there. OR she could for some reason be an opposing party for the same reason of being a mercenary.

Anen Krae would likely be a light sided help. A jedi padawan whose father was also dark sided and which ultiamtely turned him full light, after the jedi found him. At least to the best of Anen's abilities. He's really mostly a doctor by profession despite being fairly young, and so does travel. It's completely reasonable he'd want to help reunite a family, or just help someone stay on the side of the light. Both for their own sake, and the sake fo their family (as he believes his father did something that drove his mother insane at the same time the father dissipeared.)

If you really want a bad influence, Vash Walker is a character I made literally to just be an antagonist and make species/submision ideas I had. He's legit JUST an egotistical alchemic/scientist who thinks he's basically a minor deity (as he makes new species and just lets them loose on the galaxy). He's also a telepath and shapeshifter. He's not my most powerful character, and his power tends to waver due to his insanity (as does his intelligence) but it's VERY in the realm of things for him to coax someone towards the dark side (or towards something that benefits Vash, which likely means dark side) based either on thoughts he might have sensed (assuming his telepathy was even working at the time) or just based on what her percieved. That said, you'd probably feel that Vash is evil, or at least dark. So there's going to be only so much subterfuge he can completely get away with. Roxsie meanwhile may be an accidental hinderance, or on purpose if she thinks him going light side is him being weak or something.

Interestingly Dark Side with good intentions is part of the Nargon family history. More than once they have blurred the lines in their collaborations. I could see Liam working with Roxsie in some manner during his journey. I am not looking to shelter him from darkness quite the opposite. I want to challenge him to toe the line between light and dark or to fall completely. I have a feeling that he will need several light side influences, so Anen would be welcome as well as the story develops. I could see Vash as someone that Liam runs into looking for his father and Vash pushing him towards darkness.

Liam Nargon Liam Nargon - Happy to write with you dude. Balun's family didn't want him, gave him to the NJO. They probably have some things in common, I'm always down to write with new folks :)

As stated above I see the need for multiple lightside influencers on this journey. The more that are in Liam's age range the better. I'll reach out when I start the story up and we can work out where Balun might fit.

Heck yeah so all kinds of routes/thread possibilities. It does sound like you think Roxsie may be the best of the three to start with perhaps. Have a situation they may meet in? I think I may have just suggested social, or if she was chasing someone with a bounty or something. I'm not sure if they could be given a similar mission but that's perhaps an option.

Roxsie is definitely the character I see could be in on the entire journey. The other two could find their place with a defining thread or two as well. As to the type of situation that they meet up something around a bounty would make the most sense. If Roxsie does bounty work she could be working for the same employer as Liam's father, after the same bounty as Liam's father or it is even possible that she could be contracted to find and/or kill Liam's father. Naren Cors Naren Cors doesn't keep friends for very long.

Awesome! That works great then. And she probably would diversify that way, mercenary is the most simple in a sense. Explicitly hired for an expected combat. But bounty situations are fully in her realm of options. I'd be open to either of the options you provided as far as working with the employer, after the same bounty, or even to kill him. Naturally she would want to scope out his actual threat level if she could. At least before taking a contract that provides up front payment, as she doesn't want to nail herself to a contract she may not be able to complete. But if it's post-find/kill, then it's no problem.
