- Alchemized—Alm’s hammer has been alchemized to the point where it can withstand blows and parries from a lightsaber or blaster. Repeated strikes with a saber or excessively prolonged contact will begin to dent and warp the metal, however.
- Heavy—Alm’s hammer is made from solid iron and is quite heavy. Though she can handle its weight with her enhanced strength and practice, someone else may find it more difficult to wield.
Alm’s hammer appears as a typical war hammer, originally steel grey in color which has since turned to a muted gold due to being alchemized. The hammer’s handle is ~26” in length with the head comprising the rest of the length at 9”. One end of the head is flat for smashing while the other has been fashioned into a downward curving point. The handle of the hammer is grooved to improve grip.
Alm’s hammer was given as a gift by her father on her home world of Manas. The hammer is a traditional weapon of the strength-focused Uulvalo, forged from iron mined on their planet. When Alm joined the Sith Empire, she proved to be inadequate with a lightsaber and had difficulty tuning her strength to such a weightless weapon. Deciding to take a different approach with the young woman, Alm’s Master Tai Fa saw that her brute strength was more easily redirected into using the hammer to fight and had it alchemized. Alm was unsure about the process of alchimization, not wanting the hammer to be tainted in any way but was reassured that the process would only make it stronger.
