Alondra carries herself with a refined poise and grace, her shoulders back and chin held high. Each movement she makes is deliberate and calculated. While her posture is confident, she stops just short of haughty arrogance. A knowing smile often pulls at the corner of her mouth, occasionally revealing a pointed incisor.

Her skin is a soft yellow, almost golden, with white markings that accentuate her features. Crimson striations cover her montrals and long lekku, which are adorned with bronze jewelry and bands that complement her warm complexion, the glass beads clink softly together when she walks.

Keen aquamarine eyes take in her surroundings, drinking in every detail of those around her. Depending on Alondra's mood, her gaze can vary from warm and inviting to a sharp, piercing glare.

The exiled empress is often wrapped in elegant robes that are well-fitted with lengthy skirts that flow around her legs. She favors a dark cloak with a thick furred collar. When in battle, she opts to wear more practical garb that allows for better range of motion; though the attire is still color-coordinated -- Alondra understands the importance of looking the part.

Much of Alondra's past life is a mystery, even to those who have managed to get close to the woman. She is reclusive and secretive, more often than not outright refusing to discuss her origins or history. Alondra treasures her privacy and holds her cards close to her chest. Rumors surround the woman like a shroud, making it difficult to tell fact from fiction. Her indifference to dispelling any of these false stories only adds to the confusion of just who she is.

To the nomadic people of Haven Station, however, she is known only as The Matriarch -- the mysterious, yet benevolent, leader who protects their way of life. It's unclear as to when exactly The Matriarch established the mobile colony. What is known is that nearly any wayward traveler, refugee, or person simply wanting a fresh start in life, will be welcomed into the fold by the Lady of Haven.

But this sanctuary is not granted without certain concessions. Any who would do harm, take advantage of the populace, or put the station at risk are swiftly dealt with by either the Enforcers or The Matriarch herself with ruthless efficiency.
