Alora became a refugee and an orphan on the same day. When the Sith came to Lianna, her parents were part of a group that openly opposed -- and were killed.
HISTORY
She was brought to Serenity's Reach to recover from the physical and mental trauma she'd suffered. The tranquil surroundings did wonders to heal the young Echani woman. And she soon found that helping others in need was indeed very theraputic. Even after she had healed, she chose to remain at the Reach to provide assistance to others rescued from similar situations. Here, she spent her teen years training in the ways of a Jedi with Master Aida Aquila.
It had never been Aida's intention to train a padawan, however, the Jedi Master had found herself with a very eager learner. During the years that followed, Alora received training in the ways of the Jedi. Master Aquila quickly discovered that Alora was a gifted healer. And so, it was decided that Alora would learn skills that would bolster her allies and provide support.
Now, Alora has earned her Knighthood and is looking to continue her journey as a Jedi.

JEDI KNIGHT BASICS FORCE HEALING BATTLE MEDITATION CLEANSE MIND
Alora's focus is truly on helping and giving strength to others. At times, her own needs may fall to the wayside. This is especially true when it comes to her own vulnerabilities. While she's very skilled at cleansing darkness from the minds of her fellows, she often leaves herself open to attack -- and is less skilled at cleansing her own mind due to trauma suffered in the past. She's weak when it comes to hand-to-hand fighting and dueling. Her skills with a lightsaber are focused on defense and going on offense is very difficult for Alora -- she's a reluctant fighter.
Her views of people -- and the galaxy -- are unrealistic. Alora wants to believe that there's some good in everyone. This makes her very trusting, perhaps too trusting.
