DESCRIPTION
Alternative Acquisitions was designed straight off of Victoria Cross's own methods. That is, acting as a coordinator. Alternative acquisitions rarely produce their own products/services but rather connect buyers to sellers and companies that can get them what they want. This also provides an additional level of anonymity to both parties, should they choose, allowing them to operate with some level of secrecy. Their methods allow them to operate in nearly every industry, legal or not.

RATIONALE
The company was formed after Victoria felt her skills better utilized outside the family company, at least directly. By creating her own business the way she wanted she ensured a position of authority, without the limitations a normal company might have, as Alternative Acquisitions can mostly function without a true leader, so long as their offices aren't destroyed. There wasn't much scheming needed to accomplish this, as it effectively just involved Victoria hiring managers, holonet professionals, and setting up a storefront. From there everything was a matter of making calls to unused factories or companies that needed just a little more work.
