- Fleet's Wings: A combination of its sophisticated communication suite, a sizeable hangar capacity, and solid weaponry allows for the Altorius line to serve well in essentially any size and composition of fleets. Whether it be the largest ship of a task force or one of a handful of escort and support ships for a full fleet, its varied yet general features ensures that it is a wise inclusion regardless of the mission at hand.
- Escort and Patrol: While this line of the Altorius ships are dedicated warships, there is a slight caveat that they are still not ideal for being under direct fire against ships larger than cruisers. They can act as the core of smaller fleets but their intended role is to escort and support larger or more heavily armed and armored ships. They can fend off and fight vessels of their size but anything larger is far from ideal.
When development of the Altorius-Cargo Class Frigate began it was only natural for a more combat focused variant of the ship to be proposed and eventually put into development as well. The original Altorius had been the main warship of the Order of Wonosa for quite some time after all so it made sense for one of its successors to serve in a similar such role. Aside from differences in armament and defensive capability in order to balance out the vessel somewhat, the Escort Class does differ from the Cargo Class in a more substantial manner due to it being slightly larger in order to accommodate more hangar space while preserving the cargo capacity as much as possible.
Overall the Altorius-Escort Class Frigate is a capable and reliable warship designed to support fleets of virtually any size without fail, although it is admittedly not ideal as a direct frontline assault ship it is nevertheless still perfect serviceable in its role. Additionally due to its transportation capacity and combat capability it is similarly ideal for aiding in planetary invasions and the like, able to bring a sizeable ground force to bear without the need of a larger and more dedicated transport vessel.
