Scion Technologies is always looking to expand its business operations into other markets. In order to create products marketed towards force sensitive buyers, or those who anticipate encountering them, Scion Technologies Incorporated begun to seek out materials for new designs.
We found some materials through the Blackthorne Beastiary. After coming to an arrangement with Quietus to obtain these materials, Scion Technologies Incorporated began testing and experimenting with them. Eventually the idea became to create a new metalic substance with the materials for use in future designs. Several base metals were considered but ultimately Alusteel was chosen for its durability.
The new metal, dubbed Alumaltek is produced in small to medium sized sheets. The Maalraas bone has been cut into small chunks and fused into the metal allowing it to inherit it's properties. The metal sheets are then welded together with layers of Taretatek hide in between to grant it Force Resistant proproperties
