Strengths & Weaknesses
| + | 'What happened to your other hand? Did you lose it in battle?' | + |
If there's one thing Alvida is openly boastful about it's her proficiency in wielding weapons in both hands. It is a common practice among her people to make use of both hands during battle so Alvida can often be found with more than one weapon on her person. She could never quite understand why people would want to make use of one hand but not the other. This also means that over the years Alvida has become ambidextrous, able to do multiple things with her right hand when the dominant one is her left.
| + | 'I see, smell and hear everything.' | + |
Lupines have the natural ability of extremely heightened senses. Alvida can smell a single drop of blood from a fair few miles away, she can hear the rustle of leaves on the other side of a forest.
| + / - | 'The wolf urges me to be wild and free.' | + / - |
With a sharp tongue, quick whit and a personality that just doesn't quit it is no wonder Alvida has garnered the nickname wildling amongst her people. Alvida has a reputation for being an untameable, unruly child. Her cheek and sharp tongue have gotten her into endless trouble with anyone who has ears to listen. Her seeing ability has given her an air of mystery and she makes use of it often. She can talk her way out of anything, but don't expect her to do it without some sort of trouble following soon after.
| + / - | 'There is strength in numbers.' | + / - |
Alvida, being a Lupine, is a pack animal. She doesn't really fair well on her own in any situation. She prefers to have at least one other member of her kind with her at all times. When alone her paranoia kicks in and she is much more alert than she ordinarily would be. When working with other's Alvida has a tendency to heavily rely on them to fill in the roles of an ordinary pack. Both have their benefits and their negatives, but Alvida will always insist there is strength in numbers.
| + / - | 'The Gods will protect me.' | + / - |
Paganism is promenant on Alvida's home world and, much like the many generations before her, Alvida has an unshakeable belief in the nine Gods. Her Father once told her that even if she felt alone she would never truly be alone, the Gods would always be there with her. She uses their watchful eyes as motivation and their merciless judgement as a guide. As a result she tends to be a bit slapdash when it comes to really thinking a situation through, believing instead that if a plan was meant to work the Gods would make it so. Sometimes this works in her favour but, occasionally, she goes in to head strong and ends up worse off for it.
| + / - | 'I see things nobody has any right to see.' | + / - |
Alvida was blessed with the gift of sight and will use the glimpses of the future to her benefit. Alvida is considered a sacred member of her pack and is their current seer. Often times this works to her advantage, giving her a preview of what to expect, but the future is always changing. It never stays still long enough to settle. Sometimes Alvida makes a choice based on what she has seen and when it doesn't work out she often finds herself in hot water.
| - | 'My weaknesses make me stronger.' | - |
When she was a young pup Alvida had the unfortunate luck of being partly crushed by a falling boreal tree. Stuck in her wolf form till it healed, Alvida's right arm was heavily damaged by the trunk. While it healed properly and well enough for her to use it is weaker than her right. One well placed blow anywhere on the arm will render it entirely useless.
| - | 'They speak to me. Day and night. I know no peace from them.' | - |
Like all Lupines, loss of sanity is coded in Alvida's DNA. At any given moment she is prone to violent fits of aggression and a sudden loss of control with little to no warning. Unfortunately for Alvida, this poor hand in the game of life also comes with a severe case of schizophrenia. Hundreds of different voices speak to her everyday, demanding she do things any sane person would consider abhorrent. Luckily, over time, she has managed to gain some control over them and she finds them rather comforting now. Instead of looking upon it as a sickness she finds herself pleased to be in the company of what she assumes to be the God's way of speaking to her. Of course, to anyone else it simply makes her insane.

Biography
Alvida Osulf was born in the middle of the warmest summer solstice known to pass in Skógur Heim to this date. First born child to her Father, the current alpha in Pakkar Midnaetti Hud, Alvida is one day expected to follow in his footsteps and be the leader her people need. Life in the pack was simple. Her Mother took care of the family and her Father took care of business. Alvida was free to roam, play and explore to her heart's content. They first discovered her ability as a seer when Alvida told her Father that the autumn harvest would not last through the winter. Having experienced the magic of seers before her Father did not waste any time acquiring extra provisions to see the settlement through. Ever since then Alvida's ability to glance back to times past or catch glimpses of roads not yet travelled has grown stronger and stronger. As she grew she was made official Seer for her pack, shown by the inked images permanently tattooed on her face.

For two hundred years on Skógur Heim the routines of the people who lived there stayed the same. Nothing ever changed in the peaceful forest world. Until one day a trader came by with an offer to purchase a ship in just good enough condition to fly. The Packs came together and discussed it for several long and trying days. Alvida was at the forefront of these discussions, all in favour of exploring the great Galaxy. Eventually all three heads relented and Alvida was given permission to take the ship where ever she saw fit. Though he wouldn't say it directly her Father is proud of the direction she is already taking the pack and her people in.

Alvida is following in her ancestors footsteps, only this time her pack would go further. Her great, great, great grandfathers had come from the stars, and to the stars she would return. The Galaxy had always been just at their finger tips and it was high time they made their presence known again.
