Weaknesses
Lack of formal training. Alyona spent several years living at the Jedi Academy on Ossus without having been selected as a Padawan Learner by a Master. As a result, while the accumulation of knowledge is a strength of hers, its application is difficult due to a lack of guidance. Thus, while a tremendous student, would make a poor instructor in the ways of the Force.
Tall. Alyona's height and strength put her on par with the average human male, making her a bigger target, and preventing her from taking advantage of situations where being diminutive is preferrable. Similarly, she is rather buxom. Alyona moves most comfortably with her breasts properly secured to her chest, though this calls for more restrictive clothing about her torso.
APPEARANCE:
Alyona has a solid build from an adolescence spent physically conditioning her body. She is tall, and while not bulky, neither is she as lithe as smaller-built women. She sports strong facial features that culminate into a scar on her face that runs downward across her left eye. The mark is actually made from two separate scars, obtained in two entirely different incidents. The portion of the scar running above her eyebrow was given to her by the knife of a fellow Echani student who had begun focusing more on winning than on learning. The bottom portion of the scar was sustained during a fight with a Vong-shaped Voxyn beast, and is her secondary namesake.
BIOGRAPHY:
Alyona's parents did not reveal her Force sensitivity to her until she was roughly 10 years of age. After she was tested as a child, her parents withheld the information until they felt her mature enough to make her own decision regarding her training as a Force User. Alyona spent the next 9 years at the Jedi Academy of Ossus training in classes and studying on her own without being selected by a Master. The older she grew, the more did her knowledge base, but so did her fear of never being taken up as an Apprentice. Her eidetic memory served her well in those years, absorbing a great bounty of knowledge from both her general instruction and her immersion in the Jedi Archives. One of her primary goals of knowledge is to learn beskar smithing techniques, a trade held most dear to the skilled elite of the Mandalorian people.
Cyril Grayson, a former Jedi of the Order, worked with Alyona for a brief period of time on Ossus. Together they worked to heal an emotional rift in the Force within the Temple left by a Sith incursion there some time before to which Grayson had strong emotional ties. Alyona's parents ensured her instruction as was the tradition of the Echani people, and as such she maintains a strong affinity with intimate combat techniques.
Alyona's apprenticeship to Grayson ended shortly after it began, as the Jedi Master returned himself to exile. Alyona was summarily adopted by then Jedi Grandmaster Corvus Raaf, and the two traveled and trained together for roughly a year before Raaf too, vanished from Alyona's life. Had she been younger, Alyona might have been saddened by these events, but during her youthful isolation on Ossus, she had grown accustomed to being alone.
