[SIZE=10.5pt]++ High Intelligence (Racial):[/SIZE][SIZE=10.5pt] Anubians tend to possess a very high intellect compared to many races in the galaxy. In addition, Amaunet has spent much of her time in study of Human nature, Anubian nature, and her religious and spiritual studies.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=10.5pt]++ Heat Resistance (Racial): [/SIZE][SIZE=10.5pt]The Anubian body has naturally evolved to thrive in hot and regular climates, and due to such, they can survive on hot planets like their home world, or perhaps even hotter, without even breaking a sweat.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=10.5pt]++ Physically Honed (Racial): [/SIZE][SIZE=10.5pt]Anubians tend to maintain a very fit physique due to their unique metabolism, and as such, even as a scholar, she is stronger and more agile than a human or many other races. Among her people she might not be the most mighty due to her scholarly studies.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=10.5pt]++ Charisma of the Blessed (Personal): [/SIZE][SIZE=10.5pt]Amaunet believes (and it is believed by others) that she is blessed by the Gods. This gives her the ability to be believed whole-heartedly. Her words carry an inordinate amount of weight with others. From the moment she began her studies, it was evident that she learned faster than others, took to magic easier and better than others, and seemed to hear what others could not from the Gods. This caused some jealousy but her devout nature gave her no qualms about this. She is and always will be dedicated. This also combats the Ego issue with her people. Since Amaunet is ever at the service of the Gods, she has no place for Ego except when it comes to her abilities as a priestess, of which she considers herself infallible.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=10.5pt]++ Blood Kin (Personal):[/SIZE][SIZE=10.5pt] Blood has a very sacred place in the rituals and dealings of the Priesthood. Amaunet has a special bond with blood. If she drinks the blood of someone, she can tell if they are lying or find them within 24 hours of imbibing. The blood sings to her. This is called the Blood Kin Bond.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=10.5pt]== Anger of the Righteous (Personal): When faced with someone who actively is working against the Will of the Gods, Amaunet will find it incredibly hard not to attack them. Her automatic reaction will be to kill them for their insolence and disrespect. They deserve to die suffering and she will be only too happy to oblige.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=10.5pt]== Sensitive Hearing (Racial): [/SIZE][SIZE=10.5pt]This is both a blessing and a curse to the Anubian people. While allowing them to hear sounds around them more precisely and easily, it does have the disadvantage of making them vulnerable to sonic-based weaponry.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=10.5pt]== Stature (Racial): [/SIZE][SIZE=10.5pt]At 6 ft 3, she is quite a large target. She also tends to wear a great deal of ceremonial wear that could hinder movement and masks that could hinder sight and observation.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=10.5pt]-- Digitigrade Legs (Racial):[/SIZE][SIZE=10.5pt] The Anubians’ legs make it so that they are unable to use unmodified foot controls for things like spacecraft that have not been customized for their physiology.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=10.5pt]-- Lack of Cold Resistance (Racial): [/SIZE][SIZE=10.5pt]Adapted to hot and mild temperatures, Anubians are useless in cold weather without proper protection and clothing.[/SIZE]
Force Abilities:
/\ /\ Boiling Rage: Amaunet draws on her anger at someone daring to attack her person and can boil their blood inside their bodies. This spell can only be used if Amaunet is attacked. There is two levels to this spell.
<>Immediate Boil: Opponent feels odd for about 3 seconds and then feels extreme pain and heat throughout the entire body. While this may not kill the person unless it is continued, it will stop them in their tracks.
<>AOE Boil: This can do severe damage to multiple opponents bodies but drains Amaunet greatly in the act of it. She will have to recover for at least a day upon use.
/\ /\ Bow Down: Much like Boiling Rage, Amaunet controls the blood within the individual. Unlike Boiling Rage, this spell does not harm the person in any lasting way and is rarely used to inflict pain. Anubian's have great ego's and while Amaunet's is tempered by her service to the Gods, she still expects subservience from others below her in station and respect. If she feels she is not receiving the respect she deserves, she can use the blood within the individual to command them physically to bow down, approach her, or serve her in most any way she wishes. It would take a strong Will to break the bond and no Will can break it if she has tasted the blood of the individual and created a Blood Kin Bond.
/\ /\ Power of Uncertainty: There is a great deal of power in confidence and certainty. Amaunet can shake that confidence and certainty to the core given enough time. She has three levels of this particular spell. This is harder to detect within one's self and seems to come from oneself.
<>Surface Uncertainty: opponent gets a niggling feeling that they might not know what they are doing. This could manifest in slight distraction or a slightly klutzy moment.
<>Moderate uncertainty: opponent feels more insidious thoughts concerning one's self. This manifests often in inability to go through with a plan completely or a genuinely klutzy moment.
<>Powerful Uncertainty: opponent feels completely unequal to any task. This manifests by the opponent falling into a depression and continuous circle of self doubt. They are unable to continue in whatever they are doing.
/\ /\ Make Talisman: All priests and priestesses are taught how to make magical talismans, but not all of them can actually do it. The upper echelon of priests and priestesses are able to (with long meditation and the proper ingredients), make magical talismans. The power of the talisman depends on the sacrifice of time and energy on behalf of the priest or priestess, the ingredients, any other sacrifice given, and of course, the power and will of the Gods.

[SIZE=10.5pt]Amaunet is neither the tallest female, nor the shortest, but her charisma is such that she commands respect in all. Her fur is mostly black, but there are some markings of dark grey fur above her sharp blue eyes, around her arms and legs and down her midriff. Her hair is long and black with stripes of dark grey behind each ear.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=13.5pt]Biography:[/SIZE]
[SIZE=10.5pt]At a very young age, any and all Anubian female children that have a certain level of strength in the Force, are taken from their families to begin life in service to the gods. This is not a large amount of children; maybe 10-15 each year. It is a great honor among the Anubian culture to have your child chosen for such a prominent life. The family is compensated and they take solace in the fact that their daughter lives to serve the Great Gods and might one day become High Priestess.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=10.5pt]It is a rigorous training that these girls take, one that tests their physical, emotional and spiritual strengths to the point of breaking and beyond. Many do not make it through these trials. [/SIZE]The final trial is going to the Dead Wastes and spending days there naked as one communes with the Gods. On the brink of death, they are brought back to the Temple and revived. In this communion, they are changed. (more to come on this)
[SIZE=10.5pt]If a priestess is found to be unworthy, she is dumped naked in the Dead Wastes to continue the last leg of her life in supplication and devotion until she perishes. Her soul is meant to live in the Dead Wastes for all eternity and serve as a trial to others should they dare enter. (more to come on this)[/SIZE]
