SPECIAL FEATURES

• Amera Ranger/Recon armor is designed with a Duramesh bodysuit with a Phrik chest piece over top for extra protection. Phrik also makes up the shoulder guards, elbow and knee pads, arm gauntlets, along with the toe and heel guards. Built in to the gauntlets are both the LK-Apollo wrist mounted display and LK-Hermes communication system. The body of the armor also contains a Valkyrie-system incase of medical emergencies. The helmet is made from Phrik with an inside lining of Duramesh, the helmet also contains a Minerva-hud-system for tactical displays of the area. A small short ranged jump pack is placed on the lower back, this allows for movement in zero gravity and for clearing large gaps, descending from buildings or ascending short distances. Unlike most jump packs, these weren't designed for extended flight. Working with the jump pack is the Master-Grav 1000 boots designed to help the user obtain not only lift but give more control once off the ground. The boots also contain Magno-grip systems and Magna-gloves that help maintain stability in both zero gravity situations and on difficult surfaces. Ranger/Recon armor also comes standard with Duramesh satchel and hood.

STRENGTHS

• Multipurpose: Ranger/Recon armor is a sturdy set of armor that can fill several roles, from quick small group raids to advanced recon. Built from Duramesh with a lightweight Phrik chest plate, gives this armor a high resistance against energy weapons. With a thicker layer of Duramesh, the Ranger/Recon armor can survive the elements better making it perfect for long range recon missions.

WEAKNESSES

• Lightsaber weakness: Arsenian Shock Trooper Armor was never made with lightsaber combat in mind. Engaging in combat with anyone using a lightsaber is exceedingly rare, and therefore left out of the armors initial design.

DESCRIPTION
A step up from the standard Arsenian Shock Trooper armor, with thicker Duramesh bodysuit and a lightweight Phrik chest plate, the Amera Ranger/Recon armor offers better overall protection. Unlike the Shock Trooper armor, it was designed for small squads acting in hit and run missions or on recon and exploration missions. The thicker water resistant Duramesh offers greater protection against the elements, and the addition of a tough satchel or pack allows for rangers to be in the wilderness for weeks at a time. Although it's similar to the Shock Trooper armor in the regards that it's not meant for the frontlines of drawn out military campaigns.
